Nice job on picking a dead spot for the competition

Not to smart on his part unless he wanted verification of the dreaded "deadspot"

Got to love the fresh smell of clutch in the evening!!!!

Thanx for the explanation. It all makes more sense now.
I cannot wait for someone to get caught off guard by my cobalt. My z sounds evil so there is no shock value....lol

Too bad the "dead spot" in an Automatic LS1 is no where near long enogh of a delay for a stock SS/SC to pull out a win. If we were talking Stage 2 vs 100% stock LS1 A4 the story would be much more beliveable but still hard to swallow.

My short term memory is workin overtime. Was it a short race?
Not to mention, his time is in his sig and its not to shabby.

(*devils advocate*)

He did admit to a loss at a higher mph, not to mention the few cars from a dig.

the 40 roll was not a short race. we started braking about 120. the 30 roll was cause i just said **** it after i was mid way through 3rd hahah.
dig-him by 4 cars@130-135ish
40roll-me by .5-1car length@120ish him starting to pull me in..fairly fast
30roll-him by 2 cars@ mid way through 3rd gear

Says the guy who says he has a WS6 cat-back yet lists a dynomax muffler right afterwords.

Just a note:

The WS6/Base SS catbacks advantage over a Z28/Formula/T/A is larger muffler and 2.5" exits and tails vs 2.25". And unless you swapped in a Dynomax UltraFlo the stock WS6/Base SS muffler was better due to case volume.
