I dont see how that law will pass and if it did it would just back fire on them instead of people coming forward with info they will keep quite because the fear of getting in trouble for watching a drag race!

Yeah, everyone will just run right when they see cops. . . makes for a much more dangerous situation.

I did this stuff out in Chicago for years. They will wait a few weeks, let the heat cool down, and be back at it, like nothing happened. I know this because I'm guilty of it. Trouble is, when an accident happens, its a very complex dynamic. Some stay to help the injured, but its like how do you explain to the police, yeah we were watching the races and people got run over. Your just as guilty as every else there, only lessened by the person who actually did it. The police know why your there and your just as likely to picked up and thrown in jail for contributing to the problem. So most people just run. It circulates for a few days, and that's the end of it.

To people out there, its a lifestyle choice, its part of what happens when you go out, when you make that choice, you know you might not come home and to most, that's ok. Ive seen it where people have brothers, family die on these roads and they are out there racing in their honor, in their memory, laying their life down, just like their brother did. And because of this mentality there's a huge sense of banding together for one another, to take care of each other, and that no amount of police, accidents, or fatalities is ever going to stop this.
