all the SS guys around here love the car. I go to/plan regular cobalt meets/track days around here. 3 guys are rebuilding their LSJ's so they can run a TVS, and two turbo charged applications.

Ive also raced a few very impressive cars and not lost once. Turbo upgraded STI, G8 GT, and a fully bolted stage 2 NSRT4. I also only have a PCM, CAI, exhaust, and WGA. 4 power mods so far. I have a clamp waiting to go in that should net me another 20 ish whp, and 50 ish wtq. My stock turbo compressor wheel opening is 52 mm. Thats bigger than a "50 trim" turbo, which is what a NSRT4 needs in order to keep up with my maxed out stock turbo.

Big turbo + EVO X based engine ( gs platform ) = amazing platform

the braking is amazing in the CSRT. The calipers are ******* huge thats why I can only take 19" wheels. Besides that theyre rediculously heavy duty to handle the TCS and the ESP setup. The brakes in the CSRT are overkill, just like the engine and turbo.

based on ur analogy, your car is a one trick pony as well. You can do twisties well by comparison, and thats it. What makes urs anything but a pos when thats all you have?

And as I said. Its easier to get new brakes and suspension vs a turbo and engine. I can easily drop money into the suspension and have it perform just as well in the corners. You cant easily drop a bigger/better engine into urs without paying an arm and a leg. You fail to see that I bought mine because its a tuner, and its meant to be modded. Its also easier to mod stupid little **** like sway bars, COS's, etc than it is to rebuild the engine and drop in a new turbo.

Mine has more potential. This is why I bought it. Everyone is forgetting why the hell people buy a tuner. You buy them to mod them. If a car has an amazing platform to start who gives a **** about the little ****.

i would've honestly considered buying a CSRT if it werent for the 19's that come on it, i work at an automotive place and i know how super expensive those tires are...who gives a **** what the car looks like or how it handles? ppl either like to go straight line fast, or fast through turns, you set up a car for one or the other not both...if he likes running on zee highway then his car is perfect for it...i dont plan on autoX'ing my car or road coursing it so does that mean i picked the wrong car? if you honestly wanna get into the "look" of a car...our ******* cars are notoriously known as "chick cars" and if you opt for the giant ******* failed abortion they call the "high rise" spoiler then the car looks like a damn shopping cart but who gives a **** honestly....respect each side srsly

Yup man, got me there haha... 4,000 dollar paint job, brand new interior with jdm recaro dc2 seats, jdm guage cluster, sir doors, brand new carpet, rota wheels, 5 lug suspension, cf hood, in dash dvd player, gutted back seat replaced with fiberglass color matched box, new windows, new weather stripping, cf rear wing,

all for a total of 3,000 bucks haha... def. sounds like a spanking good deal to me haha considering that car right there I can sell for 7 grand and make a 4 grand profit on

the SS/TC is good on the track.

take a CSRT4 against a SS/TC at say willow springs. the CSRT4 would be toast.

while the CSRT4 as long as it had a few mods will beat the SS/TC on the drag strip.


people like different things. i would never drag my car but will auto x it and im working on getting a track day at Willow Springs. different strokes for different folks.

Ok so I guess I have to explain everything to you.... Ok 2 year degree local college here in town while working 2 jobs... to go to the 4 year college is more expensive I dont have 20 grand to hand out and move into a different town so I need a loan or what Im getting the gi bill...

The evo, is so damn similar to the sti and the 10 years I have lived in this town thats the only cars I have been around... We have the best shop on the east coast for subarus in my town called AR performance... They built several cars for alot of people and my buddy works for them so thats the only thing I have been around...

I know what kind of gas hogs they are, really dont want a car where the car is already fast I wanna build it myself instead of buying a evo and really putting quite a few different things on it and making an easy 400 whp evo or subi... Plus the boxer engine nor the evo are honestly my cup of tee.... I dont wanna spend 30 grand on a car that I have to park outside when I dont have a garage where I live... I would rather have the hatch and not worry about anything that happens to it....
