Id love to see ur honda beat the records of LS1's. ID LOVE IT. GO check out and see what the records are for ls1 engines at the drag. I can guarantee you ur shitty civic wont run those numbers. Stock, OR modded. LS1 > civic. The drag strips fastest engines are V8's or above. Hate to break it to ya.

I dont see any bolt on R32 runnins 12's with a stock 1/4mi like this. Not without a turbo or N20. That engine isnt strong enough.

I never said I will be spanking ls1s or any V8 out there, considering that they are the most common car to mod when it comes to having a track car... But thats not what I want or need, same thing when it comes to the csrt 4... I would rather own an R32 over your piece of **** dodge... If i was all about putting power straight to the ground why dont I just buy a supra with a 2jz motor or even buy a mazda rx7 and transplant a 1jz or a 2jz motor in it... still a cheap car to do and it will be spanking almost any car out there on the road... Now we both know that car puts down easy 800 hp without much work at all

Funny how you mention this considering the stock engine has been taking countless trips down the drag strip and is daily driven by DCX while running 570 whp. If it really was going to blow, dont u think it would have by now? What else is funny is how much more durable then engine is ( tolerence wise ) over running stock. If you do the math, the CSRT engine is running 215% more whp over stock and not breaking. Can ur hon-duh do that? NOPE. Ur hon-duh has an itty bitty weak engine. Thats why you need to swap an engine in. And this is why your honda is crap. You call the CSRT crap, yet I dont need an engine swap to make rediculous numbers. How come you do?

there has been, i just can't find the thread. The motor is pretty solid, they run 450WHP safely on stock internals which translates to about 553 crank horsepower. The fastest R32 has been in the 9's. And let me guess because the caliber srt4 is Jesus' chariot that is why soooo many people are buying them lol. Im sorry dude, you can put a ton of horsepower in car and make it really fast, but most people in the world like style as well as speed, and the minivan just doesnt cut it. I guess the saying should be "Having a 500whp caliber is like running in the special olympics, in the end your still retarded"

This is just my .02 on the vwr32 and a srt-4. Last year I dated a guy in dayton that owned the fastest vw in ohio, it was a 91 gti with a vr6 swap and a 61trim turbo, cars hp was around 550-600hp, yes on fwd. At the track he could only pull off a 13.0 @ 129 all day long. My car was running better times then his(obviously i was trapping 108 though) and I only dynoed 310hp and 371trq on my small mod list in my srt-4. .. I personally have beat a 400hp r32 last year on my old tune, which i was surprised seeing as he had 100hp over my car but his car was also 700lbs heavier, guess its driver error when high hp cars loose to cars they shouldnt

A semi quick car that will get me from A to B and that is functional and has nice ammentities, and that is why i would much rather drive around a VW then a dodge, especially a caliber srt4, the neon srt4 is a different story though, i ******* love that car. Great aftermarket is expendeble for me because all i did to my car was catback exhaust lol. Now considering my dad has been in the military for over 30 years, my sister is a E7 working for the pentagon with a top secret security clearance took 2 tours to iraq, my brother in law works for a private outside company and just got out of the military and took 2 tours to iraq, then my brother goes to west point and is going on his junior year, is the reason why i was the one who was always taking care of my family and their needs, and my nieces while my dad and my sister and brother in law where all in iraq...
So if i were you I would seriously shut the **** up... My whole familys service was the reason why I never joined because someone had to take care of my mother and all the other family **** that went on that I really dont wanna talk about...

CSRT-4 is the ugliest car on the planet. I almost bought one, but it handled and drove like complete garbage and I ended my test drive early. My drive to work consists of turns and stop signs, so the Caliber was out. My drive to work is not a perfect straight 1/4 mile line... Also once I saw one in person I started to back peddle. Even the salesmonkey agreed they could have used some better styling. To each their own, but the csrt is a grossly over rated truck.
If your all about dyno numbers and straight line racing (not into turning or braking) and can get a good deal on one, it might be the car for you. The consensus across the industry is the same, this car is a fail.

I agree with you on this. If youre not looking for something to build, and you want a decent pricetag a VW is a good way to go.
I have an 1/8mile and 1/4mile track both within an hour of my house. I try to go out there as much as I can.
Its all good. I really dont get offended by people. Honestly when I bring it to the track I get tons of compliments and people want to check it out. I knew when I bought it that it wasnt a "pretty" car by any means. However I couldnt turn down all the cool features ( like a cooler built into the dash ), the great year round handling, and the amazing engine.
Honestly its not a hand out... My dad is 60 years old and never used it so hes giving it to me because he cant use it... If he was going to use it then hell yeah I wouldnt take it because I have scholarships of my own but this gi bill is covering my housing and everything else in one shot....

I used to have a "pretty" SS/SC. Guess what? It was TONS slower than my CSRT and had more $$ into with mods. I moved on to bigger better things. I can get lowering springs, sway bars and probly perform just as good as you in the twisties.

TURBO > SC
6 SPEED > 5 SPEED
