You know exactly where ***-itus is in your book??? kinda explains your obcession with FORD. i am no fan of ford, but sure, they do have some nice cars. our oil changer at work is building a 1989 cobra gt. he just finished building a 347 stroker for it. he has it running but he still waiting on his MAF. A NICE car, but , when it was stock, our wash kid with his 95 z28 raced it many times, and killed it every time. do us both a favor and quit being a homo.

Wait.. stock for stock, 89 GT vs. LT1, yah the LT1 will win.. and they didnt make a "cobra GT" in '89.. the cobra didnt come until '93.. He should be walking all over the Z after he gets that 347 in tho

the LT1's at our track run 12.1's and 12.2's.. i run mid-low 11's all day long

I'm not being a homo.. i'm giving u a taste of your own medicine..

It may take them a little bit, it's hard to find a really good server sometime. Sorry for it taking so long, I promise I will have one tho. (not trying to be mean/rude this time.. for once)

and his 02 would rape that 95 Z28. you're comparing apples to oranges. and 87 cobra GT (were they canadian?) isnt that fast, especially compared to a 95 LT1.

an 87 cobra GT is no different than an american GT. same power #'s and all. just badges on the outside.

I just started reading this thread and you come off sounding quite ignorant. You keep contradicting yourself. On the 3rd page you said you "suck at driving" now you are saying you are a "damn good driver". Did God bless you with the ability to drive in just 4 days? I think this thread needs to be locked up, and if you are getting this worked up over people not believing you, then maybe you don't belong here. You said it best yourself "how do u know that much if ur on a damn cobalt site??????"

Estimating 1/4 times from 1000ft times by adding 2-2.5 sec. is not very accurate. What if I were to run a Datsun B210 on the 1000ft, would I just add 2-2.5 secs to get my 1/4 time? It depends on how fast you pass the traps on the 1000 ft. and how much more pull your car can make in 320 ft.

Also on the sales battle, more women bought the Mustangs because they were "cute" and eaisier to see out of, when the F-Bodies were more aggressive and were difficult to judge the ends of the car. The Mustang sales consisted mainly of V6 cars, with not as many V8's, and those had problems with the heads warping and blowing head gaskets. How's that for quality.

Pre-med is for Doctors, not Mechanical Engineers. That's a good point since Doctors NOT Mechanical Engineers design cars.

No excuse, GM had a V6 F-body. They just marketed it poorly.

again with the quality thing. what is it? of course the V6's sold like hot-cakes to younger males that couldnt afford a GT or Cobra, and to older women that just wanted to own a mustang. any way you slice it, the stang out sold the hell out of the camaro. and wasnt one contributing factor to the demise of the F-body the fact that it was a death trap on wheels? they're both american pony cars, not european family sedans. i think we can keep quality out of the arguement.

and btw, i hope they bring the catfish back. im getting tired of everyone having a current muscle car except GM. but thats another discussion for another thread

Hmm.. lets see here..

My driving: I'm a good driver, but compared to some driver's i suck..

1/4 Time: On a car like SRT-4, LS1, LT1, 4.6L (DOHC or SOHC) and normal street cars, you can add around 2-2.5 seconds or calculate it by the 1/8 time.. yes, it's accurate.. go check other peoples times and they all seem to show the same 1/4's with the same 1/8's, give or take a little bit..

Mustang sales: Lots of V6's, but why did they have the issue of SELLING COMPLETELY OUT of '05 GT's?.. and the fact that you could barely find a new Mach or Cobra anywhere?? I see just as many women driving F-body's as mustangs.. Mustangs never had problems with warping heads or blowing head gaskets. SOME of the DOHC cars had a head knock/tick, but that was very early production ## cars and they were recalled. Quality of the Mustang is superior to the Camaro.. camaro creeks and rattles like crazy, mustangs dont.. mustang is more comfortable, easier to drive, easier to take long trips in, sound better, have a better feel, "talk" to you better, etc..

You're ******* stupid.. Dr's have more strainuous job/training.. to become a Dr. is a LOT harder than to become a mech. engineer. Competition for Med school is very fierce..

Dr's save lives.. mech. engineers design cars.. hmmm, i wonder which is more vital..

Hmm.. not sure if you've gotten in a newer mustang lately but the clutch is nice and soft. Take mine for example, I can sit in stop and go traffic everday and my leg never gets tired holding it in and pressing it out... or maybe you're just a ******* ***** and cant handle an american pony car with a 5-spd..
