Besides, what EVO is stock? a MBC is like 10bux lol check mods in my sig, yeah the SS cant compare I have seen it first hand. We will keep up.personally i dont think our cars are in the same class...codyss, I think your mind would change after my buddy would take you for a 5k drop in his sti
well there are plenty of others on here that have seen a SS stay dead even with an EVO or even pull a little "first hand." if the EVO did pull(stock), it would be very very slowly. just look at the trap speeds, pretty even if you ask me...

Now which EVO are you talking about? The EVO MR? or the EVO RS? because the MR is similar to an STI in performance due to its extreamly short gears (6-speed), and also its performance upgrades from the RS. The EVO RS is quite a bit slower then the MR usually trapping around 101-104.

Don't bother coming back either. You're obviously here to troll about your precious imports, its been obvious since your first post.

I love how you post a picture of your car driving in the sand and deep snow and you're like "I bet your car can't do dat"

Are you serious?? Who the hell would want to do that to their car?? Nobody buys a sports car to go off-roading, thats just plain stupid.

The number of Scubie and Mitsucrappy trolls on here is amazing...

Thats cool the EVO's and STI's are faster then Cobalts, however it's too bad they look like someone who forgot to wipe their ass.

As someone else said in a different post,
EVO-STI= Rally car
Cobalt SS/SC= Sport Compact

WOW

I would have to say an STi looks ten times better then a CobaltSS.

I am always up for a friendly run, but i have a feeling those numbers are from you cranking the boost up to 28lbs on race gas... Please correct me if I’m wrong...

I love my Cobalt, but I know it's a whole difference beast than the STI / Evo. Stiff as it is, it's a lot less punishing as a daily driver than either of the rally cars. (and the 2389057345 other differences as mentioned in the previous pages) However, there's no experience quite like a 4-wheel burnout.

Actually if I remember correctly, the 2006 have the same gearing for 1-5...

I live in Nebraska 85% of the roads around me are a drivers dream. Very little traffic, scenery and plenty of room to stretch out the SS's legs.
hahaha this guy laughed at me because i live in seattle... nowhere to go fast safely, but then again i know where im going after i die so if i die in a car wreck its all gravy.... if i happen to hurtsomebody else, the man upstairs will have his way with me for bieng stupid.... and why are we comparing a 20k entry level car with a 30k+ rally race inspired race car? its like saying 'i passed this C6 with my geo metro today and he had no chance' when in reality the ls1 was on a trailor going to the dealership and you had the wind at your back, SS/sc's and SS cobalts are quick, but we all have to admit that we aren't masserati's(sp?) we're a remake of a CAVALIER!!! so stop trying to act tough and admit that without money we arent gonna keep up with an EVO or and STI when the road curves ok? i am done ranting now....

I’m confused you’re running 27lbs with no fuel mods, no ECU tune, and alcohol/water injection? I would be scared that thing would blow up on me. Do you leave it on 27lbs for just daily driving?

Well who would have thought

You own an STI, of course you're going to think it looks better.

At least the Cobalt has a nice profile and tasteful styling (besides maybe the wing), the STI is about as boy racer/factory rice as you can get. Its practically a caricature of itself, in fact it makes me laugh when I see them

little sti nut hugging going on....

He didn't say the thought the car was a Pos or slow etc... he said it's boy racer-ish which it could be defined as. The big hood scoop, wing, and 4 doors (yes I know the hood scoop is for the Tmic and the wing adds xx lbs of downforce at 120mph). The only thing that makes it less boy racer-esk than a cobalt, srt4 etc... is the price tag.
