Stock LS1 vs Infiniboosted SS/TC
I saw pookies car go dead even with my friends Camaro that ran 13.3 @ 105.5. I'm wondering why.
I'm also opening up the debate as to what an infiniboosted, full bolt ons, upgraded intercooler Cobalt should do vs a stock LS1 Camaro.
Additionally, I'm wondering which tune actually makes the most power and doesn't blow pistons. Is it the tuner/tunes fault, or perhaps is it the fact that people like to run the tiny k04 about 15 yards off the right side of the compressor map?

i think i proved how a trifecta tuned car stacks up
and as far as a stock ls1 camaro, I would be willing to bet i would put some serious car lengths on one no doubt from a roll
i owned a 99 z28 and my car now would door the **** out of it when it was stock

The ss/tc should pull on a low roll, but the higher the roll, the more the lsx car will shine. If you were to roll race from 100 and see who is going get to 170+ the fastest (the cobalt most likely wont even get there), it's pretty obvious who will win. We wont even go into a dig race. and 100% METH, that is true. A 40mph roll is a dead spot in the 4speed autos. Thats a great mph to race them from if they arent aware of where their dead spots are

You know I will agree with you on this one. The K04 isn't meant to be in the 30 PSI range, its not the tuners fault, he is only doing what the customer is asking for. More boost doesn't always mean more power. I am at 22.5 PSI making 324WHP/404Ftlbs (Before my last few bolt ons).
His turbo is way out of breath and just pumping in much hotter ait than it needs. The car is always tuned according to the customers request. If they want a better tune through trifecta, all they have to do is spend time datalogging on the street or dyno, and send the log to vince, and let him know what they want done differently with it.

but i will run you, but if we do 40, i will have to have my drag radials mounted, from 60 I can do street tires.
