well with that much hp itll only be worse from a dig. and also all the cobalt owners usually shut the video off after then get beat to 120-130 mph. with the hp youre talking about the race will need to go higher. and GTO's pull up there REAL hard (any lsx for that matter). which is why im saying maybe youll win by a car but the GTO's top speed is still higher. and dude i owned a cobalt; i dont own a gto. im not being biased. just realistic.

yea but you fail to see that i now have a clutch that wont slip. I was also at island dragway's street night where there is literally NO track prep and i was on street tires. I couldnt cut a 60' better than 1.95 which is terrible for my car with a set of 275 kdw2's. Theres PLENTY of bolt on gto's into the 11's with fat drag radials, good track prep, and good da. I'm sure as my car sits right now, sans street tires, i would be able to get an 11.9 out of it at atco (track is known for good prep and a negative da)

No, i'm not there often at all. I was there last season a bunch of times, but i'm now in Blacksburg, VA. To be honest, i'll probably never waste my time with island ever again unless i just go with a bunch of buddies and none of us really care what we run. It really is terrible LOL but street night is dirt cheap and a good time! We usually would bbq and make a thing out of it every few weekends

i def will! hopefully i'll make it there with a bunch of friends once this summer. i only live about a half hour away. for a good time its way more convenient than e-town or atco

Ran 13.2 @ 111 best tonight, 38* out
Was actually comical tho the amount of wheel spin that was going on. I would ease out in 1st, then half throttle it spinning like crazy, shift quick to 2nd and it would burn out to about 65 then just catch for that last lil bit...shift to 3rd, burned them hard then caught and pulled good finally. I only ran a couple runs, just didn't like doing that to my car Even with the NT05's and doing a short spin for a burnout, just no help lol. Track was way too cold.
Edit: I should add there wasn't many people there either, so the track just never had a chance tonight.

Johnstown/Altoona area, although I did hit up Hershey's park and Amish country 2 summer's ago. I make it all over the country minus West coast (wrong coast) j/k peps and the South West. I have been looking at hitting up San Antonio some time soon and going to South Dakota to Mount Rushmore. I like to travel and see stuff, my family is up in PA, the wifes is from Bama.
