I am not trying to argue either, I know the gto's pull good up top, its just I havent seen one around here that can do it. Were right at sea level and all to. Maybe there just all stock lol. Like I said before the fastest one I have seen was the 11.99 one at the track, all the others have been mid 12's to 14's.

[QUOTE=restonSS;4792562]youll race me from a dig. in a cobalt? quarter mile or to what mph?

i call bs on you going 173 if youre on stock turbo btw. i actually call bs if youre on stock suspension too; bc youd be f ing retarded to do such a thing.

Your close, and i can prove it, so why not? Dont call bs and be ingnorant, there is nothing wrong with the stock the suspension that makes it any less or more dangerous than any other car going stupid fast. Dont make an ignorant statement with no reasoning besides the fact you feel the need to put down. Hell we can get the z06 and the balt out and we can even compare times it takes to get up to speed.

I'm sure as my car sits right now, sans street tires, i would be able to get an 11.9 out of it at atco (track is known for good prep and a negative da)
Do you run there a lot? I go there like every Friday night. And that track is def the pits. Ive run 12.99-13.1 at 115+ on street tires but the 60' is just embarrassing there.

No, i'm not there often at all. I was there last season a bunch of times, but i'm now in Blacksburg, VA. To be honest, i'll probably never waste my time with island ever again unless i just go with a bunch of buddies and none of us really care what we run. It really is terrible LOL but street night is dirt cheap and a good time! We usually would bbq and make a thing out of it every few weekends

i go to virginia tech so im not that close. but if youd really like to ill take a good drive and meet at a dragway halfway; ill bring my buddy and my camera too so we can post it on css.net and get a good giggle out of it. then when we are done ill go w/ you on the highway bc fair is fair right? we will video tape that too and post it. im not making any ignorant statements. compare your cobalt ss/tc suspension to a zr1. if you think your cobalt is just as safe as a zr1 at high speeds YOU are the ignorant one. i think just about everyone on these forums will agree that a zr1 is far superior to a cobalt esp. at those speeds. doing 173 mph is silly and even dumber on a stock econobox car. its so silly that youre saying the ss/tc is just as safe as a f ing zr1 at high speeds (173 mph). you dont have anywhere near the downforce, R&D, or anything for that matter compared to the zr1. zr1= 110k car, cobalt ss/tc= 22k car. youre a fool. and im laughing at your comparison of a ss/tc and zr1.

It snowed here last night. As long as the track stays above 40 you should be good.

^Where in PA??

Ran 13.2 @ 111 best tonight, 38* out Was actually comical tho the amount of wheel spin that was going on. I would ease out in 1st, then half throttle it spinning like crazy, shift quick to 2nd and it would burn out to about 65 then just catch for that last lil bit...shift to 3rd, burned them hard then caught and pulled good finally. I only ran a couple runs, just didn't like doing that to my car Even with the NT05's and doing a short spin for a burnout, just no help lol. Track was way too cold.

Edit: I should add there wasn't many people there either, so the track just never had a chance tonight.

Johnstown/Altoona area, although I did hit up Hershey's park and Amish country 2 summer's ago. I make it all over the country minus West coast (wrong coast) j/k peps and the South West. I have been looking at hitting up San Antonio some time soon and going to South Dakota to Mount Rushmore. I like to travel and see stuff, my family is up in PA, the wifes is from Bama.

You must have been on a very happy dyno, with your mods a WRX won't make that on stock turbo. Especially after DT loss. You Might Make 310/340 MAX......

I can handle that just fine, I thought maybe you had 400 whp or more, 360 whp is mild for an awd.
You shouldn't be so quick to judge.
If I lose you beat a van, if you lose you got beat by a van.
Should be fun either way.

Well unless we ever get them lined up we are just bench racing, vrrooommmm.

you do know the 2010 wrx's come with the bigger turbo that the 2009's didnt have, right? those numbers are not happy dyno numbers. If he had a 2009 wrx, i would understand you calling bs all day because i would be doing the same thing. however, this is not the case
