that was actually a ss/na wheel. those things were a mission to put on. they were only for the most legal races in mexico

 

those are sportlines and 245s were fine dont worry

Unfortunately, I think I'm getting laid-off, so I may have to sell my summer wheels and tires and finish off my 4 year old 205/55/16 snow tires this summer! lol

Wow..ya mean that was a 245/40 on a 7" wheel? I had 245/45/16 on a 7X16...those were a bitch to put on and were pinched. I was a dumb ass way back then
Best set up for TC is 235/40 on 8" rim, but 225/40 on 8" would also work well..better than 7.5" we have now.

 

Mercy! I wonder what they are like to drive on? Turn in must be real numb...noisy?

 

^^ They r good to drive on, noisy? yeah kind of but if the stock ones were noisy on NY roads. they hook up pretty good too and handle extremely well compared to the stockers. Main reason why i got them was to hook better and the treadwear. I drive a **** ton (75k in almost 2 yrs) so I wanted something that would last more than a yr and these have prolly around 25k on them already and I am about half way done with them.

They only rub the rear fender wells when i hit big bumps going fast and with my work equipment in the back which is usually about 300 lbs in the trunk.

 

Yeah, those look a bit sketchy. That's nothing an 8.5" wide wheel can't fix though.

how do you like those tires? What kind of racing do you do, if any? I've been looking into them and thinking of getting em.
