Plasti or Paint before winter?

Hey guys, my names Bobby ive been on *************** for a while but that forum seems to be dying a bit, i took over payments on my girls 07 LS 4door and bought her a 2011 Camry when we had our first son. Ive got till august of next year to pay it off and Im going to do a few little things to it to make driving it somewhat enjoyable.

I just picked up a set of 16" Enkeis from a buddy with all season tires on them with about 40% tread left for $250, wheels are old and definetly need attention but otherwise good.

I eventually will either professionally paint them or have them pcoated next spring but im looking for something to do for the winter.

So definetly going black, I want to either plasti dip them or spray them, Im not trying to put 8+ hrs labor into these like I did my old wheels and have them get DESTROYED by snow/ice when it freezes this winter.

So what do you guys think i should do for a temporary black coating? Plasti dip or Paint?

plasti-dip forsure. only prep work is clean the wheel and dry it. then just tape off and spray that **** on thick. easy and cheap. no one will know there not painted and when it comes time to pc them the **** peels right off.

sounds like a plan, im spray the wheels thursday, getting the windows tinted sunday, and doing FE5 struts with Megan springs next week, just did a autozone kit intake today with the spectre maf adapter. Its a gold base model LS, so im not working with much but i just need something fun to drive, and I dont care about power, as long as it looks/sounds decent.

If you use clear, use high temp vht clear. Definitely not easy to get the plastidip off though of you do that. Thats what I did, and its holding up nicely and is much easier to clean than flat plastidip
