All my rims are chipping real bad too. I was just about to post about it when I searched and found this thread. The paint is just falling right off. I can rub my finger across and it makes a huge hole in the paint now. Give it a few more months and there will be no paint left. I'm going to see what the dealer has to say. I'm happy if they replace them all because I hit a curb and messed one up so it would be a free out on that one.

I have POLISHED RIMS ones that have never seen winter... well maintained! at 18,000 miles I HAVE ROCK CHIPS on mine....
I have never had this happen to any rim before!

to me rock chips cannot be warrantied... the paint peeling is a different issue that should be warrantied.

i took mine in a week or so ago and they gave me a #for wheel cleaner and that they would not replace the rims. how is a wheel cleaner gonna replace missing paint and the chips on my rims are much worse then the pics that were posted earlyer. pissed me off im paying 400$ a month for this car and the wheels look like ****. i clean my car every other week so theres never dirt on it for to long. i also dont drive threw dirt roads or anything. im going to a diff dealer next week.
come to think of it i dont kno why i went to that dealer in the 1st place they were the ones who wanted to viod my warrenty bc my cai threw a cel.

Stock rims are almost always better quality and more expensive than any aftermarket rims you will find. Aftermarket rims are not designed specifically for a vehicle, like the OEM ones, thus, they are inferior IMO. They are design one wheel, then just make it in thousands of diff. sizes so everyone can buy them and put them on their cars and reduce its resale value.
