Even with the spacer there is still plenty of stud left on the manifold to mount the turbo correct?

I will take some pics when I get home from work tonight, but needless to say it is sexy. Really sexy. And I will def be taking a weekend to put it in and get tuned as soon as I get the spacer. I am undecided about the dyno since I'm still on the stock clutch and don't know how much use it would be to dyno and watch the clutch slip :-( Anybody want to sell me a clutch for cheap?

I think the clutch will be able to take it for a little while. Im thinking this turbo pushes the peak torque back about 1k rpm's which should help with slip

I'm waiting until the spacer gets shipped out, and once it does I will do that install. Not sure when but I'm sure sometime this month.

I think the price will be $1200 for the stage II from here on out, and shipping is pretty cheap actually.

Cool ok.

Did you do a core swap with him too, or did you somehow buy it outright?

Of course he will, he had to make custom jigs and fixtures to make the turbo.

Like I said..it's physics. For a given MASS to accelerate from *A* to *B* it takes a given *FORCE* to accomplish that.
93 octane 24 psi. Car actually made 342 whp 378 wtrq SAE on a dynojet. Good weather helps. Car runs 4.7-4.8 seconds under more normal conditions.

This guy seems a little more diversified in the right kind of ways, offering turbos for many makes/models while sticking to mainly turbos, keeping his costs down.

Yeah stock clutch will start slipping at approx 360-370 wtrq normally and with any luck this setup should be able to hold torque much longer than the stock setup which should mean up to 400 whp on regular gas and 440 whp on E-85 blends.

A big wheel upgrade on one side of the turbo is alot less complicated then making two different turbos mate up. As a matter of fact most people charge around $300-600 on other turbos for a big wheel upgrade and thats both sides. While I loved there was a big wheel option, I always thought it perculiar that our was $1k, granted it was a billet wheel I find it funny how no one ever said how much the billet wheel was by itself, heck they wouldn't even give out the wheel part #.

oh i totally agree, i know some one who had the k04+ had nothing but issues... for the cost and gain... not worth the head ache. This looks soooo much more promising!
