probly not. Most of the people that have had issues with the combo have found that the GMS1 was not properly installed.

you dont have to oil/ clean it for 50k miles. It says so on the notice that comes in the box with the filter.

all i gotta say is I freaking love it! lol its amazing how loud the it got. in the morning on cold starts sounds like a jet engine taking off lol. i also installed a Forged BPV while i had the intake off. Makes the whistle last a little longer. also no CELs i have noticed i get into boost faster now. but since these cars have the damn learn down i feel nothing else. ohh and fitment was great.

most places are within dollars of each other so buy from some place you trust, or vendor that supports css.

I called customer service @ Autoanything. Told them that Ultrarev.com K&N Performance Intake - 69 Series Typhoon Intake Kit (CCA) - UltraRev.com - Part# 69-4518TTK had this intake for $214.71 with free shipping. They said they will match that price AND beat it by $10 Intake ships directly from K&N and should be delivered Monday with the free shipping! Hope this helps everyone!
