Lets set some things straight. The cars you have been racing have been non inducted v8 cars. Your talking about racing a zl1 which is a forced induction v8 so you just lost your advantage. Zl1's trap in altitude @ 115 - 117 stock those were from guys @5500 ft. At sealevel the record right now is 119 point something trap. A zl1 is a damn good race for a 2012 GT500 and there is no stock turbo cobalt on this site that will run with a stock 2012 GT500 I'm sorry they are just chasing unicorns.

I'm just giving you the heads up he will walk away from you especially at upper gears. The zl1 Does not stop pulling they actually pull harder past their 1/4 trap speeds. So if your race goes past 115 ish it is going to be a complete washout. Just figured I would help out.

But if ya'll do race get it on video it will be a good watch those cars sound like pure sex too!

it is rather him or james.. lol.. both great tuners... but a friend of mine (who tunes cars and never touched cobalts and doesnt even have a cobalt knew about byt) and told me i should get it done from him..

 

Go with James. If you have checked the reason thread about BYT, I would hold off on that.

 

My car On 15 psi so 420 ish whp from a 40 roll to 120 I was at the back bumper of a zl1 started pulling back a little around 100 there pretty Nasty stock
