Superchips
I have slready posted up 2 different Dyno runs. in 96 degree heat 281WHP/307Ftlbs
My next results posted will not be available from superchips. (The tune will be from an outside source who I will reveal after the results are up.) I would like someone else to hit the dyno to get some different numbers than mine.

(It was also just after I flashed back to stock, so It may have not learned down.)
Meh, if you did 3 pulls it will relearn the stock airloads. It takes 2-3 to fully relearn. 1st pull was probably the highest though especially on the stock IC and 95* temps. I would definately invest in a good IC my IAT2s never rise above ambient temps even with my old SRI on there sucking in 140+* air. Good IC makes a 40-50* difference in your IAT2 s if you drive hard for more than a few seconds.

Im thinking of going with them because there is no one around here that i would trust to tune my car. If i lived in the states or out west that would be fine.
I am keeping the SC tune, I am just seeing if a local can improve on the SC tune, and make use of my Intake/cat removal.

I got my SC cortex on July 3rd. It made a difference but I might sell it and get trifecta or something so I can get a little more power. There's no one close to me that has HP tuners (that I know of anyways
).
).
it will only work on your car now by the way..... its mated...
From everything I read is that when you return your car back to the stock setting it removes the VIN from its memory letting it be used on another. If you look at the return policy it states that on the superchips website.
I just flashed my HHR SS with the cortex quick tune, wow what a difference. Went from 15psi to 22psi, I had a slow poke in an old ford ranger in front of me doing 20mph, i wanted to test the tune so i passed him and as soon as i hit the gas the tires started squealing and it scared the old man in the truck lol. i had to let off it to get traction again. it was $318 well spent. i will get into the advanced tune and adjust the shifts and the redline a little more.
Hmmmm this is a good idea, for those goign to another tune. Good luck with the trifecta if you go that route.

I never could find a true answer to a question I was wondering about for the SuperChips. Does our cars increase in power by adding bolt ons like cat back exhaust, SRI, or boost tubes with the 91 oct tune? I've read in a few places that it does and read that it doesn't. Anyone have any figures or experience on this?
So far my car is stock other than the cortex. I am thinking about changing the hot tubing or adding a intake and don't want to be doing harm instead of good.
