i just ordered the AEM dryflow and the spectre maf adapter PN 9405, which is 3"OD chrome plastic. and fits this style MAF. are you guys with the short ram using mounting brackets, or just leaving it sitting in the engine bay?.

That's a very nice adapter

I used a few brackets I had laying around to support it.

and TTR, you said the intake necks down to 2.25". does this mean the turbo inlet is 2.25" aswell, or is it larger? its poor weather here and I want to order the spectre mock up kit aswell, does anyone off hand know the inlet OD of the turbo?

2.25 is fine, the inlet on my 16g was 2" :p and those things are good for 400whp

i ordered a 2.25"to 3" reducer, now imma either fab up a 3" pipe from that to the MAF adapter from spectre, or just use spectre parts from the turbo to filter, have decided yet, just glad i found that reducer. once i get all parts in, and no codes or limp mode, ill let you guys know how the responce time and what not is, i know im not goin to get more power, but itll sound damn cool, and replace the entire intake track.

mines just sits in the engine bay by the stock intake housing down in fender... i want to take off the most restrictive part the tubing connected to the turbo

looks good, but it should be killing your boost completly just lowering the amount of psi needed to achieved the 260 with the intake now

i think im gonna try "07blackSS/SC"s idea on the intake. doesnt look bad and as someone else said, sand it, paint it black, and it will look dope. if it adds boost or power, it will work for me! especially when nothing is out for the turbos yet

Alright so I made a custom Injen intake made for the S/C it seems to work but it bogs just driving normal if I put the clutch down to go into neutral and about 25 mph or higher costing it seems to kill the engine but then I shift back into gear and yah know it jump starts heh anyways im just wandering is that the pcu trying to get used to it will that go away cause it already seems like its getting better btw the blow off sounds nasty it gets like one pound of boost its a shortram

08 T/C Sunroof/Highwing/Lsd Victory Red

Custom shortram Injen intake?/Stockmuffler delete->Bullet Muffler

http://i35.tinypic.com/6yh9jc.jpg Tell me if its done right but like i said thats what it does for now I just put it on 2 am this morning after i got off work heh tell me if yours did that at first if it had to ajust to the pc looks like you have your maf sensor angled different from mine no check engine light came on either maybe thats the correct way please tell me? If you need more pics i will certainly do.

Spend more time reading the posts instead of coming up with ways to be a jerkoff to those trying new things with the TC. Go easy on em man He explained this was temp and ideally he wants an CAI in the wheel well... I think he is only relaying what is happening to his car and he's helping some other new people fab a kit in the process. Just because you knew "some kid" that had this and that happen doesnt mean it's gospel to all those who want to try their hand at being creative. People like you just like to **** on those who try new stuff. Its guinnea pigs like this that help us all get the most out of our cars...
