ya I guess, the stems had decent crustys on it though. it idles very smooth now. but ya all my other issues like rich idle and funny turbo sound are fixed now as well, they were due to the exhaust leak caused by turbo mounting nut that had loosened itself. I believe it was due to I had to change the stud on it cause I destroyed the one that was on there when I replaced turbo cause it was seized with the nut. the only one I found has no way of torqueing it to spec so it works itself loose eventually. ill have to get one from the dealer and fix that properly. but car runs perfect now. turbo sounds normal, fuel trims at idle are perfect, vacuum doesn't jump around anymore. so ya, anyone with issues like that, check pre o2 exhaust connections for leaks.
