BOV spring upgrade
haha my bad i meant to say if i remove the vacuum line, not spring. I just liked the sound it made and i want to find a way to keep that sound with out installing aftermarket BOV
then buy intercooler piping and put an aftermarket BOV on
dejon has intercooler piping with a greddy BOV flange on it

yea thats bad to, the sound you heard is compressure surge. leaving it like that will eventually cause failure. super sequencial bov from hks sounds like that but is safe cus its the bov making the noise, the compressor isnt surging. Compressor surge occurs when the throttle plate of a turbocharged engine closes and the pressurized air is forced back into the turbocharger’s compressor housing causing the turbo to slow down. Compressor surge not only decreases the spool of a turbo but can also damage its center cartridge.

how would i delete the stock bov??

buy dejon intercooler piping, use the block off plate, then take the vacuum hose from the stock BOV and put it on your new BOV that is installed on your new intercooler piping then bam there ya go

Do you need the new intercooler piping? Like is it a must? Also, any BOV will work as long as its a recirculater right? And are different BOV's different in loudness? Like I would want to scare the **** out of old women when driving by but I would like to hear it a little in the car
The "pshhhhhh" sound comes from venting the bypass or blow-off valve to atmosphere. In order for your fueling to work right with atmospheric venting, the MAF must be in place down stream. This is how my Camaro is setup. The air is compressed in the Procharger, passes the bypass valve, passes through the intercooler, and lastly passes through the MAF before entering the engine. The SS/TC setup is a draw-thru style MAF....meaning the MAF is the first thing the air passes by after the filter. That's why we have a recirculating system. Once air has been metered by the MAF, releasing it to atmosphere will generate a rich condition in the engine because that released air is no longer making it to the cylinders.

this is what it sounds like

Recirculating will still make noise....it just makes it inside the intake tract. That's why people who put on a short ram intake or aftermarket filter hear more of a blow-off sound.
ok here is a close up pic of where you have to tap in a boost controller. It is that rubber hose with the 2 clamps on it

and here is a farther away pic

This is reached underneath the car. If you want a place reference, if you look in the pics that pipe above the rubber hose is where the intake goes into the turbo. So there ya go. Any questions just ask

So just an intake would make it louder? Thats cool. I would like a pshh sound but not for major money and I am sure it might get annoying after a few days.
