good to hear. also if you tried to sell that car you will be lucky to get rid of it for book value. you will never get what you put in it, ever. cobalts are only going to make some money back by going back to stock and parting out. That is what I would do if I let this car go.

Good to see you kept at it. Love seeing cars like yours and if it's not your daily these problems shouldn't be nearly as much of an issue.

i was able to get quite a bit of horsepwower and reliablility out of my turbo and maintain complete daily driver duty out of it. There is find line you have stay on when making about 120whp per cylinder. Look at how many cars are daily driving at 450whp without issues. There are only a few of us.

Good to see it was simple. Now get another car and put this one to work. I sold my beater recently and bought another car but its not ready to drive yet, so I feel uneasy beating on my car with no back up plan

Thanks guys. It's not even about it being a DD. It all went downhill when the EFR blew back in march. It help strong with that turbo no problems. Then I got the 25g, then it had boost leak, then wastegate problem then this then that. That was all just to get it to work.. which it never did. And it all came down to this. If you read from the first page till now, you'll see what these ******* problems persists of, never really the car. My dd tune would be 20 psi barely 400whp, the only time i'll be rocking 30 psi etc. Would be with e85 kill mode drag tune. Which I'd run like once a month at most LOL

Thanks brotha, so do I. For now I don't know if the vids will be too exciting LOL. I'm just breaking her in for now. Next week 100% I'll get vids. I'll be racing a FBO 335i racegas and meth, and probably that vette I ran it with my EFR a couple months back.

I loved the stage 3 stock clutch pedal feel and everything. It just grabs harder. Its not like a slip in clutch like the stocker. It is very nice though for an upgraded clutch. I have the ky stage 4 on right now and thats even smoother!

Yea lol, up and running. Still just slowly breaking her in. It's not even tuned to make a video. Maybe tonight I got a file I need to log so after work. I gotta find my camera mount though...

Update... same canyon log as my EFR if you want to compare. This is 14-16 psi literally first WOT break in file. Might look a little slow but I know it's not even close to what it's supposed to do LOL. Enjoy more details in the vid itself.

Still getting bad compressor surge around 4.5krpm -5.5k rpm, it's the point where it keeps trying to hit target boost but it's not letting it. Logs dont show WG flutter so I don't know if it could be that. I'm getting a MBC to see if it was the solenoid the whole time.. Idk.

Does anyone have any ideas? Some guys on the evo forums say it might be the cams giving me trouble. Anyone think that the cams might be causing an issue? Some trick to tune for it. IDK.. any help would be nice.

Get rid of the factory BCS and run an MBC. Its the only consistent way to go on these cars with larger turbo's (non efr).

Update: Changed out to the 1.5 bar spring. Preloaded the **** out of the rod, there is no more thread left LOL. And guess what!!!! It's still the same ****... ******* surge... I'm going to look at the log and see whats up. I'm guessing the turbo is just done or I just need the 2 bar spring even though that makes no sense at all.

This is bullshit, that is all.

I'm over the 25g. I'm looking for a zzp exhaust mani and an external wg. i saw some guy on FB post it last week, I'm going to hunt him down. I'm going to get that ****. I'm going to buy a 6262 Comp turbo, not Precision. It will have triple ceramic ball bearing and billet wheel with anti surge etc. way cheaper than any other company with those specs.
