Payam on my setup I'm running the factory bc. And when James had my setup he was running an ebc and he didn't get any surge either. I think term is correct on his theory about the wg.

I agree with GMtech, that's why I said he wouldn't tune me or anyone else for that matter LOL. But yea, I guess I'll try it out. I have no other options besides goign back to the WG.

I'm not saying spooling fast for MBC, I'm saying spooling too fast for the car to keep up. This turbo flows a nice amount of air pretty quickly too. My turbine is same as a 20g so it actually spools really fast once started LOL. I'll try the WG thing.

Going to go back to the damn WG. Trial and error. At least I've learned so much about my car and how to work on it's getting easier. Esp since my buddy got a lift at his shop, I can go there anytime I want. I was there till 4 am 2 nights ago when I fixed my lower charge pipe sensors etc.

You have a larger turbine than the 20g. My turbine is a 20g turbine. I get the same surging and im on a zzp mani, tial 38mm wg with 8.7psi spring, hallman pro mbc set to 23psi. I have not begun tuning yet tho so please nobody say its the tuner. I just want to know if i need to fix sonething before i begin tuning.

1st and 2nd gear no surge, 3rd a little, 4th and 5th are horrible

Any ideas???? In thinking i just need to up the wg spring

Weird ****... Up that spring to a 1 bar. That should be enough. I'm guessing these 25g are bad combo with 20g wheel or anything td05. Idk though.

You have a td06sl2 turbine iirc. James was a t67. Mine is the small wheel wirh a td05

On a side note i need to do a boost leak check myself. I suspect im either leaking at those stupid 90* elbows at the tr12 ot my intake mani gasket. Ive got an extra intake mani gasket but i still have to take it off one last time so i was waiting to swap that out.

I have the one James had now with the t67. I don't have any issues other than low horsepower.

On your MBC do you have a spring pressure setting? On my truboost it has a spring rate which you are supposed to set to 1psi your factory spring pressure rate. So 9 psi on the zzp kit so I set it to 8. The higher the spring pressure I set it to the faster I can get the snail to spool up. However...if it is set too high it will cause surging and spiking of boost. Just throwing that out there.

Nah, no spring pressure thingy. It's regular hallman pro boost controller. IDK really what else I can do with it except turn it lol.

Here's a little pull today. Was about 80 degrees out second gear only... You can't hear the flutter too much cause of shitty youtube. If you put on some headphones maybe. It's much quicker flutter sound than before. W/e though 7.5k rpm redline too so

perfect for you to post that. I just took a video about 15 minutes ago on my way home. 2nd and 3rd. put new plugs in with a smaller gap last night. helped my 2nd gear breaking up issue and also replaced valve cover gasket and purge solenoid.

Looks pretty good man. I'll try n get a vid with second and third gear. Tomorrow I'm going to try and loosen the wastegate preload.

LOL, I was recording with my cell phone. It's pretty hard haha. Hopefully tomorrow it will change with less preload. I just don't want it to be worse and less power!

Hell. Should do what I do. Use a GoPro at wide angle and use a 3m mount on the dash bezel. Works so good. Sounds messed up cause I put the stupid waterproof back cover on cause I can't find my other cover. Boo.

I only revved to 6800 on that pull. I'm still on stock springs and only rev to 7200 when racing at the track really.

We'll see what happens. I got a new file for using my regular boost controller solenoid. Tomorrow morning I'm going to do my wg rod as well. And.... I'm going to check out a 335 I found.
