Custom LNF ECM- What Features Should Be Added?
I have most of the cars ive tuned set up like this already. Its simple. Just move the iat2 sensor wire from the lower map to the upper map on the manifold. On my set up when my IAC kicks on the E85 drops iat temps a good 20* so its simple to tune for.
This could be improved by implenting a multipler table off of the new AIC table that is active only when the AIC/meth is spraying. Which leads to another table that would be nice and simple.
The extra gm solenoid on the manifold that controls the BOV has some potential. I have used it as a nitrous solenoid controller based on boost but it is limited. We need to expand the bov solenoid controll table to a larger 3d table then give it a multiplier table for spark. This would be a perfect meth/nitrous/AIC/ or anything you want triggered based on boost. If whoever is designing the OS could verify that the address look up is to the manifold MAP PID that would be amazing. You could even use it as a secondary ebc so we could max torque to gear tables and allow true wot in first gear. Would make launching much smoother. This would be a true boost by gear set up. Not a "torque/load" by gear.
A DAL by gear.
Maybe wastegate DC by gear.
A engine run time after ignition is turned off table would be nice. Basically a "turbo timer".
Like already stated switchable map set up. Wether it be cruiz control, traction control, or a switched power input . Lol starting to sound like "Tephra". Possibly we could get some help from him? He has done wonders for the evo community.
Alternate injector constant table for E to 93 switching.
I know all these wont work but it gets your head thinking. Sure yall can branch off one of those ideas to make it better.

if someone can incorporate the fuel line Ethanol sensor (on the LHU/LDK its a black fuel sensor connected to the fuel line- under the car on the passenger side) since its a GM part instead of using an unknown ethanol fuel sensor, then its possible to "import"and use the ethanol-tables from LHU/LDK into the LNF files..
from what I've seen (using GDS and comparing with HPT), most of the "main" (MAF/MAP/Rev/boost/fuel/tq/load/etc..) LNF and LHU/LDK tables are "almost the same" for the most part, except for a few odd tables (don't know what they are - HPT should figure these tables out), these are not the same, for an example - on the exhaust cam phase tables - most of the numbers are off by ą5-22% compared between the LNF & LHU/LDK tables?? - b/c "cooler EGT or new VVT tech" maybe..
once someone figures out how to incorporate the fuel line Ethanol sensor, then its game on for the LNF..
going off on a tangent here, but I wonder if anyone has thought of using LHU/LDK file on top of the LNF file?? like the Trifecta/HPT combo/ layered tunes? - the things that make you go hmmm...
other than that - FasterIsBetter, ULWizSS, silverbullet08 & Omnigear = these are fcukin great ideas!! bravo gents.

They use completely different hardware and the files are nothing alike, so that wouldn't be possible.
got to lay off on the mint chocolate xmas Hershey's Kisses.. "sugar high" ate a 2lb bag in a hour yesterday..
How do you know they are running the SAME OS on different hardware? Have you written any code for either or dissected a ECU? Just because some tables may be similar does not mean the OS or what runs on the hardware is anything close to similar.
Atleast speed density please, but ideally should be modeled after the turboxs UTEC, uses a crossover point set by throttle plate opening % to switch from MAF to speed density. That was by far the best mod when i was tuning subarus, an old ass UTEC with speed density, ignition cut launch control, amazing flat foot shifting (much better than the SS), and it had the ability to switch tuned maps to to 5 different ones, a no start tune, and a valet tune, all on the fly. THATS what i'd like to see and something i would pay for.
