but thanks for the input i will look further into this and talk to my tuner and see what he says
What you are saying about the LS1 as a project seems level headed if you are able to end up in a good position to purchase the LS1. Good luck and hope it goes as you plan

As far as the tuning goes, were not knocking the tuner. Just saying that not every LNF is the same. Just cause he could run that amount of boost and get away with it doesnt mean your car can handle it too...the evidence is in black and white in those dyno numbers you put down. Clear as day.

My car is a good example. I have NEVER been able to run the amount of timing on 93 that everyone else seems to be able to run. Id top out at 12-13* before Id start to get KR at WOT, its rediculous and maddening! LOL But if I run an E mix, suddenly its all good and I can run whatever the tuner throws at it. It seems that for me to get near the performance of other guys, I need to perform double the mods. Anyways, good luck once again

i understand completely, i HARDLY drive it so ill go to a person out here who has a tuner and can check my stuff and see what they can log and send it to M-Dub and see what he thinks (tuning is something i havent even started to look into learning JUST yet) and i will update and fill everyone in! thanks for the comments and warnings id rather everyone tell me to double check and see that everything is fine then to not say anything and i blow a turbo/motor.

I am just waiting to let go of the balt to get a decent mileage ls1 so i can tear it apart and since ill be saving roughly 300 a month with cheaper insurance and car payment on a LS1 i would have alot more money to build it up to my goal of either a 500-600 rwhp NA (with some possible spray) or 700-800rwhp single or twin turbo monster. my over all goal is to make it a road course beast. ive been doing ALOT of reading up on the topics (NA/FI/Road course) and this time im going to do what i should have done to the balt and built up the bottom end, drivetrain, suspension. then try and make big numbers, not get to some impressive numbers and tear it all apart and build it to make the high numbers.

thanks, i could have swore it was the tires since they were so bald but hey ill trust someone whos been there seeing as this is my first 300whp car. just the guys said who worked there said it was tire spin thats why it got in my head that it was (not saying youre wrong im just explaining my mentality at the time)

oh i believe you, and it makes sense. i was baffled since i know 300hp isnt special for a dyno to see so i blamed it on the fact that i have some balding tires. i ruled out the clutch because my car has never seemed to have clutch slip before because whenever i hear it "bog" like that i see some tire left on the pavement. thanks for the info

i threw 271whp and 318tq on a mustang dyno with trifecta and dp and intake 23psi that about 310whp on a dynojet you should be pushing more like 320 especially sense mdub is more aggressive the trifecta

i agree, im thinking with the stock intercooler added with higher psi and the 45 min drive to get there and a slight 15-20 min to sit that my car got heat soaked and isnt putting down what it really can do.

not making excuses by any means
