Full boost broke something

Full boost broke something

Got gas was driving floored it to pass some one then the went flat I don’t know if that makes sense I let off the gas the car jerked made a crazy sound then started running like poop then cel came on I replaced the map sensor starts but dies I unplugged the mad sensor and it started running better need help????

From what I can put together from that post, you likely have a boost leak. I'm assuming the mad sensor you unplugged was actually meant to be the MAF sensor. If you have a CEL don't just throw money at random parts because other people had similar symptoms but a different code.

Most autoparts stores will scan the car for free to give you the code, then you can confirm before throwing money at parts. I'm going to guess you have a P0101 (get it checked) which is not a bad MAF, its a boost leak on the LNF.

so it turns out it was a boost leak one of the hoses that goes to the intear cooler had came completely off but also the map sensor was no good , so thank you for the help this is my first turbo car my other car is a 85 corrolla gts

I had that issue, some hair spray and quality T-bar clamps and they'll never shoot off again!
