The real world feedback i see on the EFRs that are out there seems very positive and has me swaying toward a 7670.

It's actually what i wanted before the S256et. I wanted to do a custom fab on it. After my house was built before i could get my hands on a EFR i gave up and bought the zzp kit. I dont regret the s256et though at all, it has busted so many egos.

There is no sound quite like an S256et with an open wastegate. It's mean and nasty. The sound of victory!

No need to regret it, lots of people have it. They eventually move on to bigger n better snails after a build.I can imagine man how many egos man. 506 whp is nothing to sneeze at. I'm only at 415 whp and I'm dying to go in the 500 range.

What happened to your setup, anyway? I never heard the story of how it ended up at our shop with a full build already on it.

Well i am sure you saw the pipe that was pulled. Had a stage 2 trans in it that had less than 10k on it. Had a slight head gasket leak and had your stage 2 ported head sitting downstairs with cams. So i had BYT slap that on got it tuned to 26psi. Apparently the trans seal was broken when he put that together and there was really no oil in it according to you guys. So it lasted about 24 hours or so before the trans went in 3rd gear. Trans broke after about 2 hours of a little fun and spanking my buddies vette.
So yeah thats pretty much what happened. I hated the exhaust mani being so close to the firewall. Not something i could work on easy at all. So i decided to change it again.

Yep thats what happened. Car was a beast at 26 pounds but i really want more. I know i need E85 next season but looking for some decent power on 93.

Yeah, I did know about the trans. It did have a smashed seal. I just wasnt sure if there was more to it since so many things got changed. But looking at your old parts, it does appear that it needed some work.

Nope thats about it. Still sucks though this thing has been in a garage getting upgrades for 2 1/2 years out of the last 3. Pretty much just cant win on this car at all.

Have not gotten a pass down the track like i wanted to.

Oh yeah make sure the WOT Box Works for the 2 step.

To clarifiy for those that dont know, just bc a wastegate is external doesn't make it loud. It's loud when it dumps to atmosphere instead of dumping into the exhaust. I can tell you all from personal experience that external dumping wastegates get old quick. VERY quick. Eventually you'll just want to hear your turbo and nice exhaust over the SHHHHHHHHHHHHH sound it makes when it dumps.

ive never been a fan of ewg. i mean, it does sound cool and all, but i prefer the sound of my turbo over a wastegate dump.

LOL. Put the windows up and sunroof open. You can get the best of both worlds. The screamer pipe and the turbo from the top. Sounds pretty cool really.
