And yes this is a ture bolt up application.

I will be writing a tread on thursday or friday with all the info. Including dyno graphs if i can get time on the local dyno here.
Good to hear. May be picking up one of these really soon if all goes well with yours!

Depending on how Vince tunes me I may get one too. If I need to schedule a dyno day that will suck. I will if I have to I guess

Subd for results. If it goes well I might end up getting this.

gdubs are you on the stock clutch or do you have an upgraded clutch?

just corrected 4 tunes from vince here in florida and they were all running 12.1 afr and a max of 12* timing???? he even went as far as running a pte turbo setup at 11.8 afr with only 5* timing. so you should all be very carefull with his tunes id hate to see anyone hydrolock their motor because he tuned it way to rich.

Any reason everyone is getting back on the K04+ band wagon?

There wass a reason everyone said it wasn't worth the $1k it cost for the wheel upgrade.

Waiting for results, maybe you will prove me wrong (tuning has come a long ways from back when these first were tested).

What do you mean you corrected his tune? I think I was 12.0 AFR and not sure the timing. Why is that bad. Also if the number is higher is that better? So if I'm 13 am I rich or lean?

the lnf's run best power between 12.6 and 12.8 afr
14.7 is stoich the higher the number the leaner it is, the lower the number the richer.
anything bellow 12.4 on a lnf turns it into a deisel wanna be leaving you sooting around town making shitty power and wasting unnecessary gas.

and i actually ended up redoing the cams, fueling, timing and some torque related stuff they were really messed up. idk what hes doing but he wasnt helping these people service wise verry much either...denying they ran little timing, and refused to raise it and fuel ratio. he mave have unlocked stuff but i dont think he knows what some of it does either.... im not him so idk exactly whats goin on

HHRSSouth
well it is easier to tune out the surge spot it has....
i still dont think its a super great idea the journal in the one i had blew in about 3 months.

Stop bashing Vince at TrifecA AND GET THE **** OUT OF THIS THREAD. hes tuned more LNFs and other GM vechs in 1 month than u will in your life. And the GM vehs hes has tuned have more miles logged with out engine problems from the tune.

He also has hard data and dyno graphs that hiss method of tuning provides more power at the wheels.

SHUT THE **** UP. its immature to bash your competition. shut up and keep your comments out of a thread that has nothing to do with trifecta

I'm hitting 12.5~12.9 on his aggressive tune. Haven't ran into issues yet when I got WOT

Its because no one provided hard data and based it all off 1 thread on a solstice forum

does the 5857 precision turbo bolt right up? Or do you have to customize parts or buy a kit? And what were you all running that you were making 450 hp?

x2

did you just buy the turbo and bolted right onto the stock exhaust manifold? I'm sure you had to fab a new intake and downpipe...

that guy needs to explain lol

I did the same thing, sent them an email concerning the K04+ and received no response as well. This was about 3 weeks ago.

On a separate note, I'd just like to add my car has been running a Trifecta tune since about 3k miles to the 28k I have now. No problems whatsoever. I also have about 3k miles on my car since I received an aggressive retune from Vince, of which the AFR appears to be 12.5-12.7 at WOT. No problems here whatsoever.

To all you clowns posting about how a Trifecta tune "had this guy's car messed up, had that guy's car messed up, with horrible data logs" etc etc. If you personally have not experienced these issues with YOUR OWN vehicle, I'm not too interested in these alleged third party issues.

Clown here...

Anyone that refers to the fuel mixture on an LNF in terms of AFR shows they do not understand much of anything about the Bosch E69 ECM. Especially if they're trying to run Ethanol.

Oops, gotta go, the Ringmaster just told me the elephants are eating my bowling pins.

I just checked every single post in this thread, and theres ZERO mention of running Ethanol. I think you have this thread confused with the other Trifecta bash thread, which is titled "trifect air fuel ratio."
