Around 1100$, keep in mind we in Puerto Rico...have 93 oct but our gas doesn't have the 10% ethanol US gasoline has, so we are limited by this fact. Car is at 27 psi with only 15* of timing up top, plenty of space to work with, if we were to have the right fuel.

All I have is 94 with 10% ethonal. That's the best gas anywhere near me, the rest is 91

You also have to get new charge pipes, maf relocate, and a bov. With a total everything you'd be looking at 2k.

Isn't it journal bearing still too? If so, ZFR is still a winner.

I reused my Injen charge pipe and just had the BOV flange welded to it. I would never do a blow through setup. You can have a fitting welded to your intake for recirc. Total for both pipes should be like $50 for the welding.

The point is you can't use stock parts like the ZFR. You HAVE to get new charge pipes with a BOV.

Still ZFR is 2k+ in pricing and still no car with good enough numbers at same psi/octane...E85 maybe good for 500hp but what good it does if you only have 94oct...still 2k+ bolt ons...for maybe...20 to 50HP more? Not good enough in my opinion, you don't need to maf relocate if don't want to and you don't need to to recirc if you don't want to...all that can be tuned for.

With 94oct you will hit 400hp mark easily and it won't break your bank account.

I assume people already have charge pipes since its basically the first thing everyone does.

1900 on zzp site. What you don't understand is that we are limited by fuel at that point when using ethanol. No matter how big a turbo you put the car is limited by fuel. It will be in the 400-430whp range. The only thing you can do is 1- meth kit 2- 5th injector 3- cams w/ larger fuel lobe. Have you not noticed almost every dyno is limited at that hp range. BTW the 6758 will outflow both 20g and bnr2871. It is the winner in a stock location bolt on piece. Titanium gamma fancy shmancy turbine, ceramic ball bearings. Billet wheel and internal divertervalve. I mean seriously, if you don't like that you gotta be nuts.

It is not a fact of not liking...but as you just said...any turbo on the car will still peak out at 400-430...then why pay more for a turbo that you will not use...yes ZFR will outflow the others, but still you stay at the same 400-430 range...not worth 800$+ if I'm not going to go behond these numbers.

True, but we're both going to start from stock cobalt SS to a big turbo right?

ZFR 1900

BNR and 20g is like 1200? plus charge pipe and bov, another 400. so about 1600 at the least! compared to 1900. The extra 300 dollars is worth the titanium gamma turbine, dual ceramic ball bearing and a billet wheel. And the way it spools is just like stock. For people who want stock like spool with over 100 hp over the power band of stock turbo, this is the way to go. Esp if you canyon and stuff, you'll need better spool etc. Still though, I have a 25g now so I've gone through both kits pretty much.

Term said he saw the ZFR flow max 45 lbs a min just as the BNR 2871 can flow 45 lbs a min.
