Had no F'in idea!!
So I'm looking to get a new clutch for my '08 SS/TC. A stage 3 KY from TTR is $530 w a TOB... not bad @ all, but then I call my local Chevy dealer to get a quote on a flywheel... WTF!!! $713.64!!!! I don't want to have the trans pulled to replace the clutch, and just resurface the flywheel. Resurfacing feels a l'il half- assed to me when it comes to the trans so... Can I get some help on where to look for a flywheel plz!!
Pretty sure zzp sells clutches that are either pulled from cars they work on, or they get them at cost and just don't mark them up like dealerships do..
Either way, zzp was the route I went when I installed my Spec 3+ and I am pleased with my decision.

So do you insist on replacing your rotors with every brake job too?
if there is nothing wrong with the friction surface, there is no reason why machining it won't suffice - all you're doing is cutting it down to make the surface perfectly flat again... same idea as turning a rotor.
The only time where replacing the flywheel is necessary is when it has been cut enough times to put it out of spec ~ thereby placing the clutch assembly closer to the rear of the block, and far enough that the TOB won't be able to do it's job...
