New 'ON' LED arrived from superbrightleds.com, 5mm black bolt in green. Sits high enough that I can see it in my line of sight now and it's weatherproof. Car is dirty again. lol.

I was expecting more drop as well, but with the nozzle so close to the TB, it may be doing it's job in the cyls more than the intake.
Edit: I just realized I'm sprain' after the IAT2 sensor, I thought it was the one in the intake mani. No wonder I don't see a temp drop. lol.

Once I start installing mine, I'll decide exactly where it's going.
First thought was right after the Intercooler, but I too am leaning more towards right before the bend up to the TB.

id just installed mine and i like it alot bumping up to a 50/50 mix tomorrow! i mounted my nozzle on the piping exactly 8 inches before the throttle body which on the hahn charged piping landed me right about the middle of the bend.

Nozzle moved
Woke up early ( It's a bitch getting old!) so I marked the ZZP lower CP where I wanted the nozzle located, drilled & tapped, & reinstalled the nozzle about 7or 8" in front of the IAT2 sensor in the bend of the CP. Plugged the previous location in the MAF block off plate with a stainless pipe plug.
Now the ECU can see a closer to actual intake charge temp. IDK why I thought the IAT2 was in the intake mani, I know better from splicing the sensor wiring. Brain fart.

Thought the rule of thumb was something like no more than 10" away from the TB because you want the mixture to still be evaporating as its entering the cylinder.

According to the AIS website, if it is too far away, the cooling effects in the cyl can be diminished. Life is a compromise. I wanted it to be seen by the IAT2 sensor at least. AIS wants it close to the TB.
