That makes sense to me...however that is what they put on my repair invoice. They replaced it for free and I have not had any boost problems or engine lights since. Peace!

Very funny...no..they did the repair the Saturday after my post about the problem....I don't have much time to post...thats all.

I've also been tuned since then. Boost at one time was at 25 lbs...I had it brought down to 20-21...any suggestions as to were it should be with my mods and a stock clutch!

As much as you can without having the clutch slip in 4th gear.

I had this problem once and I also have an intake and turbo back exhaust with no tune and my car was doing the same thing. My CEL was throwing a p0496 and a p2187 code Turns out it was the evap purge solenoid. Got it for about 25 bucks from the dealer and took about 5minutes to change. No problems since.

Which sensor? Wastegate solenoid?
