P2187 &Loss of boost HELP!
Hello,
it's been a couple of months now that a sudden loss of boost happens without CEL.
After some miles boost is up again.
Yesterday i lost boost (only 80kpa)and after some miles CEL came up...P2187 !
I erased it with a dashawck and boost is fine after that ,untill i drove some miles and then again loss of boost(safe/limp mode on?)and again CEL !!
I took it to dealer..!
Any ideas what might be the problem..?
exhaust leak?
purge solenoid valve?
MAF/MAP related?
else?
Thank you in advance.
Car is 2007 opel GT same LNF engine with GXP/REDLINE!Yes it's moded with solo downpipe/catback and tune from EDS/germany.

I've got that before in mine, only after the aftermarket stuff went on. THe 2187 will limit the boost to like 6-7psi and not always throw a code. I just use my Dashhawk and scan for codes periodically and clear as neccessary. Other than that no issues. The code has something to do with running to lean at Idle, I'm thinking the MAF or MAP.

Or you can search eBay for them, sometimes you can get them Cheaper like I did.
If your still running stock, I'd take it back to the dealer and have them check it out too. Could have a bad sensor or something. I'd also check and see if you have any loose tubing connections.
