Passenger Foglight Removal Mod
Passenger Foglight Removal Mod
Hey guys,
With the ZZP cold air intake system on a 2010 Cobalt SS with the air filter down in the lower passenger fenderwell, is it a helpful mod to remove the passenger foglight to allow more outside cool air to get to the air filter ?
I would install a screen where the foglight would be to keep out any large debris, water, etc.
Thanks for any help.
Jeff

If you have hpt or some way to log, do a pull with it in and look at IAT2, then remove it and retest under the same ambient conditions. Id bet it helps a few degrees but probably not drastic.
Sorry, don't have an HPT or any way to log it.
Car was dyno-tuned over at ZZP a couple years back.
Not expecting drastic, but if it helps I'll do it.
Not like the foglights actually do much, light wise. LOL
Just figured someone on here must've tried it and tough to find specific things through the search.
Thanks
