I saw that you did as well. I was hoping you of all people would reply. If heli-coil is too advanced for me I'll just tap it larger and use a bigger bolt.
I didn't even tap a larger hole, I just ran same size tap as the bolt to clean it. The bolt I used must have been a standered bolt instead of metric , cause it went in tight, where as it didn't quite fit the other holes. Just don't over tighten again lol. That's the one thing I'm always paranoid about when I do something with my bpv.

Is same size standard bolt instead of metric, it's slightly bigger and when cleaning out the threads and putting it in it will modify the threads enough to work but not enough to be stripped again, and it will fit through the bpv hole without drilling it out

Just to update this I got a heli coil in and out a longer bolt in another one because half of the heli coil was in the hole still and I didn't wanna drill on it. Holds fine.
