That's the best way to do it. But he got rid of the heater and all. I still have the heater.

alright, had to re do the water pump, the way I had it was causing the pump to push coolant back up in the coolant tank. So here is the way it is now. I have a little left to do but looking to get it on the road tomorrow. Have to make sure there wont be any leaks and what not. And am going to make a new bracket to hold the water pump so it looks a little better, on to the pics.

That's plan x prolly lol. But I talked with t jolley about his he did. And I was missing the concept of the ecotecs coolant system. The coolant constantly cycles throughout the motor and then once the coolant hits 180 the stat opens and pulls coolant through the motor. Where I had the pump at it was just pushing and not circulating anywhere but the coolant tank. even with the controller and the thermostat out, since I had the pump in the wrong spot it still wouldn't work. So now I don't even need the controller again and put the stat back in. Tomorrow will be the day.

Essentially the davies craig pump is acting exactly like the stock pump now.

Ah I got ya. With mine it just never let the engine get up to temperature. That's why we put the controller in there. It wouldn't heat up past about 153*.

That's why I just put the stock thermostat back in. And I can get my 270 bucks back from the controller.

Can it be driven on? Yes. I did it and will continue you to. Chris will do it much more. But I would stick with the oem pump if it's just going to be a daily driver.

Chis I have a few questions:

I just got an s259et Batmowheel myself like I had told you I was going to.

1) Did you go with an ATI balancer for your engine build?

2) What are your plans to rev this thing out to? 8k? I'd imagine with that 6262 the higher you rev the better. If you are reving it out high was there anything you did to this build to aid it in doing so? I'm going to have to rev mine as high as possible now too.

3) Who ported your head? Was it ZZP? What would your gains be from the ported head?
