Term2 vs?
1- I am far from a 'kid'. I have been tuning est 2002, with 13 years of experience hardly constitutes as 'new'.
2- I don't tune americans, nor do I require any more 'business', so get over yourselves. I have other tuners I recommend stateside, as well as in other parts of Canada. I definitely prefer to be in the car, or have it on a dyno, to dial a tune in therefore I personally don't like remote tuning, but I do have remotes throughout Canada to assist the GM community in our country if need be. Just like kzak is trying to convey his experience with a certain tuner, I have expressed mine. I am not trying to scrounge business. Simply put, I don't want or need any of your business, so in the politest way possible - get fucked.
Any further questions? Or can this thread be put to rest?

Good luck everyone. Keep up the good work and tuning....
I'll throw my hat in this thread, hopefully also bringing it back on track before any lock-down occurs;
I have previously only heard good things about term;
I am starting to feel as though I am an "old timer" here by how long I've been posting (it seems to me that so many of the current active members only joined this site well after me) - I have also understood that Term gets pretty swamped at times, and do recall reading a thread or two about people wanting to hear from him and not getting a reply (or maybe not getting one prompt enough).
In all, there's just too much good posted about term to allow one or two people's negative experience to white wash away all the good... but that's just my opinion.
As a point of comparison, I used to be a pretty active Trifecta dealer when these cars were still new, and recall all the Vince bashing - but seeing first hand the happy customers and the great (for the time) dyno numbers seemed to make the Vince bashing seem rather ridiculous...
Things have changed though, it seems to me as though Trifecta has moved on to bigger and better ventures... The Cobalt's are old news now.
For HPT, I'd recommend KM043;
In my opinion he's a stand up guy - It sure helps that he's local too

It's just all part of the fun. Members come and go and most topics should be taken with a grain of salt.
This tuner bashing is getting really old. There's several gifted tuners on here. There's no way to say who's best without having every single tuner on this forum tune you and compare the results. Even that wouldn't be concrete proof. Dyno numbers aren't a tell all and neither are track numbers. I think it should be a combination of numbers, time slips, and drivability. But the drivability part is kinda subjective based on the owners preferences. I went with Term2 because of his track record with the ZFR. I had James tune me on the stock turbo and never had an issue and also had him start tuning me on the ZFR but I wasn't crazy about the drivability of that tune. After the switch, I'm thrilled with how my car is. I've always heard good about all the tuners mentioned in this thread. How about instead of bashing one and trying to push someone towards a specific tuner, let them talk to each tuner individually, discuss the goals for the car, and make their own decision that way?
And many of us joined well before you... This bashing has been part of this site since the beginning. Intense Racing comes to mind. Area has seen his fair share of fun as well.

You know it!
And I am very calm, had a great time this evening road tuning another built 2.1 lnf 6758 (underkill turbo for the build, recommended they upgrade to 7163 if they are sticking to bolt on turba)
I just dont appreciate it when I get called 'kid' by someone who was still in coloring books when I rebuilt my first turbo on my boosted j-body.

Secondly, yes I called you "kid". Big god damn deal. Only those who are insecure and feel as though they have something to prove would get worked up over nonsense such as that.
Third, yes, I am indeed older than you kid. Think twice about that little coloring book comment.
First off, take it easy. I never once said that YOU made the post. Others did and I subsequently commented.

My LNF Was a beast when Term tuned it. At one point I was running 30 psi on the ZFR on E30, stock clutch and stock motor. The car never missed a beat, and it was an awesome process.
My only complaint with david was sometimes he took forever to respond lol
