lol yea. but the car barely sees the street. no rain days, and maybe 20miles a week lol. mostly shows, and some highway miles here in there. but even a cricket would do some demage lol

 

haha yea that's a pretty dumb gamble can get a screen for 10 bucks

 

honestly i just took my turbo off a few days ago and the bigest pain in the A@% was the little heat shields lol

 

Take it from me, dont do open turbo. A screen at minimum! Ask me how i know :/

and what BOV did yours come with?

 

looks like he's just using the vacuum line for the bov only from the mani and going to tune out the sensor that normally controls boost release/wastegate release on our stock setups.
ill prolly do the same once i pick up my new turbo.
op are you going to use a boost controller or how are you working that out?

to me it looks like the vac line from the mani is going down the front of the engine. mine goes from my BOV to the intake mani

 

you're right he's probably got it plugged into the cold side.
yea i'd do straight from the intake mani as well.
