And there ya go riding Treadstone's nutz again Rich! Really though, I'm looking very hard at this kit. Not the 62, but the 57. Because as you know, 400 is my magic number...

Hey Fross, how bad was it to get the air out of the system after you drained all the coolant out and filled it back up when you did your swap?

Pretty easy. Just cold fill it, drive for awhile till it goes down a little. Put more in. Make sure you get it warm enough to open your thermostat. Then put more in. At least that's what I did lol not sure if that's the right way

Ah, well its pretty straight forward then. I was just making sure it didn't get air locked like a lot of newer vehicles do. I know my 01 Lumina was a ***** about getting all the air out of it when we replaced the intake gasket....the f-150 was even worse but I think ford just had a bad design...

How much clearance is there between the manifold and coolant crossover pipe?

The coolant crossover pipe is that silver pipe right behind the wastegate. Go look at his install & review thread. https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/2-0l...review-265685/

it really doesn't make a difference though. as long as it's somewhat centered and angled to flow the best
