yes it is boost sex!!! lol. Nah the slippage comes from traction cause of sooooo much power, it's theses crappy stock tires!!!!!!!!!!!! And of course the POWER!!!!

Tire slippage is cool...nothing like ripping tires with sheer power/torque! These Sport Contact are not crap...it's the power delivery...

Anyone logged intake temps with boost over 21psi?

I have to update my GT Tuner this week and I already have the "switchable tune" waiting in my e-mail inbox from Vince.

I am going to install the switch tune this week. It should definately be fun testing it out.

I can not say enough good things about the Trifecta tune. From drivability, to power delivery, to power itself. Top notch customer service from both Clear Image and Vince. The product is by far the best "mail order" product I have ever had. Keeping in mind I have had several mail order tunes from my old '03 Terminator. Nothing I had previously compared to the Trifecta tune.

Zombie thread, nice work.

The switchable tune is **** dude, it's kinda creepy how well it works, no lag or sputtering or anything between switching even if you switch at full throttle. I also forgot how decent the car is stock too, I only switch to the performance tune once or twice a week now.

Unless I am blind, where is there more info on that tune?
I only hear it mentioned once in a while.

There were a few semi-recent threads about it:

https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/supporting-vendor-deals-group-purchases-133/trifecta-performance-tune-sale-181222/ <-- The sale
https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/2-0l-lnf-performance-tech-153/trifecta-infiniboost-first-video-184352/

I would venture a guess that as of now, most ordered Trifecta tunes are the new tune (you can still get the "old" one though). It's currently undetectable by the dealer's means, has a double tune ability (activated by a certain traction mode you pick or the cruise button with the amber light), and also has the ability to go over 23psi.

Measily huh? 280whp out of a 2.4 might be considered a little better than measily but maybe that's just me.. lol..

and yes I know you can't run normal injectors, hence the diesel remark..

Yeah we need to do that again but this time where there isn't any traffic to **** us up! lol.. I can't see the catback messing you up but if it did, throw the old exhaust back on and test it out. Sucks to do all that work, but you can at least compare the 2 again.. Or maybe make a datalog with the new exhaust for Vince to check out to make sure everything is peachy..

Damn - FINALLY the ROCK has come BACK !!!! To JERRRRRSEYYYYYYY.

Yea, installed the switch tune from Trifecta tonight. If it is like the "base" or "old" tune, then I will be extremely happy! The drivability has been great. Gas mileage on the highway commute has been anywhere from 27.8 to 28.4 from the last two tanks.

The car is a rocket - MUCH smoother boost buildup than the Superchips tune.

I am EXTREMELY happy that I didn't wait for the 20hp Stage 1 kit from GM. In fact, I'd still be waiting. I think I MIGHT waittill they release the intake in the Stage 2 and maybe try to pick that up. ORRRR I could just call Vince and get the Clear Image intake and have Vince set me up with an intake tune.

Either way, I know you guys are strangers, but I would recommend Vince and Trifecta to my own family!!!! This tune is top notch. Best tune ever - and the best part? I DIDN'T EVEN DATALOG yet!!!! It could get even better!!!

Great work Trifecta - Great Work Clear Image.

Another satisfied customer.....

PM me for more details....

vice will set you up after you data log

he may add some timing like he did with mine and get you a bit better response and more power.

my tune now is a lot more agressive than the orig one he shipped with the tuner, took some time but it was fine tuned after data logging

If you're feelin really crazy you should give his infiniboost tune a try sometime.. hold on to your pants brotha.. saw another 30whp on the MILD infiniboost tune over his "base" performance tune and that was on a hot and muggy day.. The power curves on the tune are dead sexy too.. I make the same horsepower at 4400rpms as I so at 6000, which is 275whp and 303 from 5000-5500ish.. that's a nasty little powerban there

that was after LOTS of dataloging though.. those datalogs can really make a difference to get fine tuned to your car and setup
