Turbo Swap Time!
Here is a baseline dyno sheet the way we recieved the vehicle. Max boost was about 20 psi.

To our suprise, the car didn't make near the power we expected. We unstrapped the car and pulled it into the install bay and began the build. We weren't very far into the project when we removed the downpipe and noticed this! Since the car was already off the dyno and being taken apart we decided not to dyno the car again.

No, his goal is 425-450 whp.

It does not have the same appearance as current Hahn downpipes, so I don't know. In October of 2008, he posted, "I have the Hann"s 3 in exhaust and a 3in down pipe on the car." That doesn't really sound like it is a Hahn DP either.
I hope not. I pulled mine about 5K miles ago and there were no issues with it then.
It was "not" a Hahns down pipe I am sure of that.
I'm pulling my DP to check, if it's like that.. If so, alot of folks may have gotten an defective DP's from one or two of the vendors on here..
But the logical question is - what's causing the flex coupler to collapse inward?? (extreme heat, high/low afr, bad manufacturing/cheap stuff, turbo surge???)
Also, can a stainless steel 3'' pipe inserted inside of the flex pipe to prevent this??

GJ ZZP, I like seeing a vendor jump right in and get a project done (not sit around for months on end like some other vendor). For me personally, service goes a long way in selling me something and returning as a customer.
Off topic a little: I kind of think its ridiculous that forum members are afraid to post which manufacturer has what defective items due to repercussions.
I thought the point of a automotive forums was to post the good & bad parts alike for our cars, not to protect vendors if they are selling problematic parts? I've noticed its great to give high praises to vendors, but when people start questioning there parts some forum members end up banned?
I do think people should contact the vendor to resolve the problem first, but how are other members with the same part suppose to know to look for something wrong without people actually telling them or them pulling parts of there car?

if not our money can walk somewhere else..
The stock clutch seem to be starting to slip and I knew with the new hp I had to upgrade.
Without touching the rotating assembly, think you'll have any issues running a lighter flywheel? Originally, I was going to grab a HyperSingle, but the more I think about it I'm probably going to resurface my stock flywheel and install just an upgraded clutch...
