The EFR turbo setup is def nice and keep in mind donkeyballs was on a conservative tune and pushed 390. Plenty more to go on that turbo setup. I got the EFR for my LSJ and the turbo alone was 1400. I would exect this kit to be a decent penny but a ton of fun.

398/397 before it blew the coupler off.. But yes it is a kick ass turbo and I can't wait to get some engine mods to make it better. I just need to talk with matt about what would be the best route..

starting build already!

Got my motor ripped apart ordering pistons and rods just got brand new head as well. Thanks to bent rod and craked piston ring along with 2 broken rocker arms oh and 2 lifters broke in halves the bearings from rocker arms were found in oil pan. was running trifecta tune 26lbs boost and full boltons. So now with going built cant wait for this turbo upgrade so can push hell of alot of power. My question is with so much power were going to have whats going to be the best strategy for traction?

Well they did say it was an R&D project so I guess that means that it won't be quick. Does the states give tax credits for R&D projects? Up here in the great white north many companies take advantage of R&D tax credits to fund entire projects from start until the item is commercialized. I'm sure some of the things we use daily wouldn't have existed without it.

I've decided to do this, but I'm only gonna push around 8-10psi, I don't wannna change my internals. So 390whp is where I wanna stay.

I was under the impression that 20psi lead to over 450whp. I don't want that so I just randomly guessed.

Regardless, the psi doesn't matter as long as I hit 390 for my daily driver.

Like I'm with you, I only want around 400whp. 8-10 psi would be cool but the turbo would be barely used lol.

lmao.. 8-10 psi will not give you 400whp. (WHERE IN THE HELL WAS THIS MADE UP) ?????????? Maybe on a 6-8 cylinder depending on bore/stroke. and ect!
