Well I don't want more than 350-375whp, so I'd just bolt this up and do lets say 15-20psi and call it good and pray to the car gods that it's fine as a spirited daily driver with occasional track use

Go with the SPEC 3+. The only reason I went with the Hypersingle is because I got an amazing deal on it from a member on here. Otherwise I'd be rocking the SPEC.

I hear too many bad things from spec. I'm getting ZZP stage 4 this September I'll let you know how I like it.

Also Zoomer made it sound like its not coming out this year do to some complications over email. Might wanna just plan on next year. If it comes out great but I'm willing to bet next year will be a good time to buy.

I can't wait for black Friday deals from ZZP haha, maybe I'll hold out on the clutch until then.

Actually I was leaning on the ZZP stage 4, Hypersingle, or the KY 6 puck..

Just to be clear, I was talking about the EFR turbo not coming out this year.

as for the S4 Clutch, I hope they put it on the black friday list. last year they didn't if I remember correctly.

You're right, they didn't. I was glued to my computer all day waiting for it to pop up there, haha. Ended up buying a coil cover and stainless brake lines instead

I was referring to the clutch my friend, probably should have been a little bit more clearer what I was talking about. FML!

....why not just get the cams, or the total head/cam package for 2g's, and just literally swap it out + Tune. That will put you at those power goals easy, and you would still look completely stock, they say it can run on stock tune to so unless GM is taking your cams out to look, how would they know?

Cams alone are like 600, thats cheap, I have similar goals as to you, and with the cam package, that seems the way to go for the money.

You're like my twin, we have the same goals, both drive 09's

We even have around the sameish power right now, but I have like a few more parts than you

Maybe my trifecta tune is the culprit... how disappointing for me lol.

Anyway, I thought about doing cams, but ZZP themselves turned me away from it. I asked about reliability and they pretty much said they don't know. The think it'll last to at least 100k miles, but they're not sure. They said they're close to stock and can't imagine it breaking, but I shy away from things I don't understand. So since they don't know, I don't wanna try it.

But now that I think about it, you gotta pay to play. I don't know I'm E85 is for me, so I might as well get cams and go for it and if things go sour then I know why.

This is correct, well at least the "series" members on here would be interested in.

i have never heard anything bad about the spec 3+... not sure where you are getting your info from.

ZZP can you tell us what your manufacturer is telling you, as far as a wait time for the first batch of these turbos?

We are at the mercy of the foundry at this time. They seem to be very busy. I will post updates when we have them.

Tell the foundary to hurry up, my Regal T needs a ZZP EFR turbo

Why can't you guys release any cost figures ahead of time so people know how much to save up?
Surely you know how much its going to cost you total per turbo and then add the mark up on top of it.

It is difficult to forsee the total cost of a project before it is complete. What if we need to make revisions before we have product available? What if we find a better deal on wastegate hardware or find that the parts that we sourced do not fit correctly? There really is no way to set a final price until the project is complete. Having said that, if I had to guess, I would say that we will come in with a better price than most people have estimated.
