Vapourware comments are funny but at the same time indicate how much people are eager to get their hands on this kit and how much they will be pissed if it does not come out in a reasonable amount of time. I remember years ago at one time Hahn kept promising to release a turbo kit for the LD9 Z24. They even had a prototype car and an artist's sketch etc. A couple beta kits were released (i.e. Bob Mull's EvilZ24 iirc) but after a while people stopped talking about it. I'm not sure if they ever did release a real mass produced kit.

Correct.. Everything was custom made for the BW EFR 6758. Tubular exhaust mani, DP, CP, CAI, IC, etc..

Granted some of these are 1400HP+ applications for rally cars and what not but even one of the main companies who makes turbine castings for BW said they just got the EFR figured out to where it's not having catastrophic failures and blowing the wheels apart/bearings.


Just what I've heard from the horses mouth ...

Not that I wouldn't mind having one but it will be nice to see the longevity and multiple track days put on these things .

I heard the girl acrossed the street has a dick Anything is possiable but my car is a DD and barely gets pushed and its lucky even to get on the thruway once a month. I only put about 1000 miles on it since i got it back So if i break it i'm gonna be pissed

Edit: I would like to see the thread of the guy that broke the shaft on the EFR so if anyone has seen this or knows where to find it post or PM me. I heard about this but can't find any info on it. thanks..

So after some thinking, asking and plotting, I've decided to get a ZZP EFR after some time. I'm gonna wait until some of you get some and see how it handles then I'll get one. I was considering cams and zzp valve springs (still getting springs eventually) but the reliability is questionable. So I feel like a ZZP EFR 6258 is good a mild performance increase and reliable.

I think I'm gonna do it.

But I'm very indecisive so that may change in an hour.

for the money (guessin it be bout the same) you could get the 6758 and just tune it mildly. This way you could always go more if you wanted (and will) without having to buy a new turbo. Unless you don't trust yourself.....

I am still on the fence as to what I want to do, swap or cams. I would like to tell people I am still on stock turbo though.

Just get the efr! You can't even tell its swapped till you hit the throttle (more power) its like a high powered NA car.

I don't have any real good vids yet cause my car needs more fuel pressure We are doing a blend tune now so i will be adding more vids in the next couple days. I'm gonna have to buy the ZZp cam/pump and whatever else i need.

I have another vid i took today of just daily driving it but people will just talk **** that its slow.. The whole point of it is to show how quick it spools and how nice it drives as a DD and i didn't take it past half throttle the whole vid. If anyone wants to see it let me know?
