Overnight? Hell no. However, this thread was posted back in mid March. I'm not expecting it to be done yet...but SOME kind of update would be greatly appreciated Even if they just straight up say..."Hey, next year folks."

True but its been almost 5 months since this whole thing started. Im good with it tho. Gotta save up

People are getting unsettled because this was a real hot subject a couple months ago and little by little the info/updates just stopped coming

It also is going to bring sales down. Once something is hot, It sells well...people naturally do not like to wait meaning the "trendy-ness" of it will drop.

I am sure they will still sell more, But having some kind of update would atleast ignite the thrill of it.

Perhaps ZZP could do like Extreme Dimensions did with the Tjin Trunk...Have people make down payments for when it does come out? People like payment plans these days. And that is the easiest thing to do on a product that's not complete yet. Would people be interested in that? I know I would

PS. Can't wait for my Tjin Trunk

I'd settle for a payment plan as long as i knew they were not going out of business anytime soon.

There are a lot of big companies that think/thought they were not "going anywhere"

That's only what they tell stock holders to keep investments flowing in to wall street. You can't really compare a sound company like ZZP to that of a money laundering, mismanaged company

We do not have an update right now. There have been some delays as usual, but nothing new to report just yet.

That's because it's not in our hands right now. Foundries are backed up and take a long time to get to relatively small projects like this. They much prefer to work on their big accounts that order castings 10,000 at a time.

i wish someone would make a custom tig welded tubular header that has the flange in the factory location so we know for sure this turbo can flow full potential on the exhaust side. like a long short style with centers bent to go down low and outters bent towards the head some to lessn the bend into the top of the collector. i have a designe planned in my head and with tig welds it just looks sexy haha 8P
and same for an intake manifold lol factory tb mount with tapered short runners o00o0o0o <3

How did you make the prototype? It looked to be a cast piece.

It has already been proven that its not needed to change anything, they have made 540whp on this turbo and stock mani, and intake mani.

True they have over 600whp but is there proof that a header will or will not help a larger turbo flow more?

I beleive I was saying this somwhere in the 33 pages too. If the kit came with another exhaust manifold option for ppl who do not want to risk using the stock exhaust mani..

the evo guys seem to pick up a fair amount with tubular manifolds but i'm not sure most of the cobalt guys would drop the coin someone would want for a tubular manifold. I'm pretty sure the turbo flange isnt something thats just available and they would have to cut that... but yes, an equal length tubular manifold would probably gain 10-20hp

Vulcan makes an Equal Length for Ecotecs...although I'm not sure if that's for LNFs...? Maybe??

600+ whp was on our cast log manifold and S259 turbo, but yes we did 540 on the stock manifold and EFR.

I don't feel that there is any risk in using the stock manifold.

I agree.. If you have a turbo that bolts up to it no reason to change it and gains would be minimal if any wth the tubular.
