Im just sitting here as i look at my bank account. I can purchase a S256et and all goodies right now, or a Pwerks EFR raw kit. Sprinkle in some ZZP cams and lifters, or i can give it til April 1, 2012.

My check card is sitting in my keyboard............................. What to do.............................

I might have to wait only because the other half wants wooden shutters through the house, the price of which makes me shudder.

so zzp any updates on how the casting is going??

 

Not sure if he posted or not but the prototype casting is on Matt's car. This is a production piece, not the one that the thread was started with.

 

well that's good to hear. so we should be hearing something from Matt M. soon (a week or so) once he's done testing it out, tuning, dynoing, etc.

 

I think he left out that small detail.

Sounds like we just need the EFR's to not be back-ordered until they become irrelevant and a newer turbo is on the street.

S256 et all the way. Of course I am a little bias. With the proper mods and tunning, you will soon forget about the efr and the 256 has more in it if you do decide to turn up the boost some day.

 

I plan on turning it up that same day.

Midnight, is this you? The turbo bolting on will not be the problem, its the downpipe to the exhaust i can see being the big difference.

 

yea i hear that.. its getting harder and harder to keep this money saved but im good so far.. and like cdnight said any updates?

 

Can't be an update until Borg Warner is no longer on back order. Believe me i have contacted 25+ stores across the nation to find a EFR and found absolutely 0.
