But you still have not acknowledged that the airflow to each cylinder is not exactly the same. Why aren't you asking GM what they are going to do about that? As I said before, the reason is because your motive is to discredit ZZP.

I will simply put, I have been running this setup for the whole last summer season without ONE issue. The car started every time, the car ran every time, and when the time came to sit down, it never failed. ANd I drove a 40 minute commute on e85 to and fro, every day last summer. As well as a few trips to see Matt and Ryan who treated me and my car with the utmost respect and helped me at every turn. They are good people...

Though sometimes I dunno if Matt is pissed or happy with me most of the time, but it mostly ends up being 'he's putting up with me'

Lol.... I'm not directing people another way lol. but this is why gm used 4 injectors and not one.. so therefore the airflow doesn't matter so much...

And ulwiss .. just Lulz ..

Really my point was most would rather deal with a legitimate registered business over you. And the way you present yourself in any thread is not professional and most of us on this forum know that, well besides your nutswingers that follow you because they think your god.

as a fellow nutswinger....i would consider him more professional, business orientated and willing to help than some other nameless tuners/builders that are said to be at the top and registered businesses. (NOT talking about ZZP)

I agree James is a good guy in general never said anything else. An what he does on cobaltss with tunes is a benefit for all of us that want to get tuned.

Hell i have issues with BYT currently myself, hence why i can rep him anymore logo wise.

Can we calm this down? Matt, this is a good thing for you guys to come out with. Though I feel it is kind of a band aid and I would rather see a port fueler style setup for this type of fuel addition. Uneven fuel distribution and puddling is my concern, GM never considered wet flow when designing the manifold. HOWEVER we have been using meth on the manifold for quite some time and no one has reported an issue with losing a cylinder when using meth. And since this would only be on under boost, fuel puddling is basically a non concern.

TDLR; not the best way to do it, but good enough, and the best way for the cost.

I agree! I hope everything will calm down soon!

both James and Matt are VERY HELPFUL.....to customers and non-customers.....and to this forum

its just SAD that they agree to disagree in forums

anyways, I just wanted to mention that there's one LNF (sky).........that I know that lost a cylinder due to pushing his car at 420whp.......using a single METH nozzle (LARGEST nozzle).

He is using 100% METH.......and was using it to ADD fuel to his fuel-starved LNF

although he is not spraying from the TB .........his nozzle is located at the post-IC charge pipe.

uneven distribution........

he is no longer using his water/meth kit. And is now only using ZZP s1 cam w/ fuel lobe, and no longer "fuel-starved!"

Hey Antonio, I gotta say something about that particular blown motor, since I know a wee bit about it. Yes, using a ton of meth with a trunk setup (no shut-off at the motor) was a factor in why that motor blew, but not THE biggest factor. The reason that motor blew was because of a HORRIFIC tune. Period. The End.

James, this is for you...

I'm asking you nicely to stop being a total dick. Please stop. Concentrate on positive, helpful posts and nothing else. If you can't, just remember, I asked nicely.

ZZP...

I understand you guys are trying to defend yourselves from these attacks, but you REALLY need to stop replying to these kinds of posts. It just makes things worse and you, and your company look really unprofessional. I takes a bigger man (or company) to bite your tongue and walk away. Keep this saying in mind- "Don't get into a battle of wits with an un-armed man." You are NEVER going to reason with someone like this. Trying to shows you're unreasonable yourself. You guys have made advances in the LNF and LSJ circles, but honestly your attitude keeps shooting you in the foot as far as I'm concerned. I reached out to you guys when I was deciding on a vendor to work with on my EFR build. I went with somebody else because of one thing, attitude. I've been a Lead Journeyman GM tech for 30 years, I've been the top tech in every shop I've worked in. I've interviewed and been involved with hiring AND firing many, many techs. One thing I've learned, amazing skill is completely worthless if the attitude sucks. Work on your attitude and professional presence on these forums and you will gain respect and customers. Don't pander to the lowest common denominator of forum members and use that as your customer base. Guess what, they're the ones that don't have any money! lol. The one's like me, who have plenty of cash to buy something like a 5th injector setup, just get turned off by the company image that's behind the product.

Funny thing is, for the last 6 months or so I've been seriously thinking about ditching my meth setup and going with a full fuel rail or 5th injector setup. It's disappointing to me that I don't feel comfortable dealing with one of the vendors with that actual product.

After typing this, I've decided to bold my entire statement. I've never done that before because it's kinda obnoxious. I feel this is an important post out of an entire thread of BS though. It needs to be read before more of these types of threads continue or get locked. ANY forum is useful, even this one. With threads like this though there's just too much BS and not enough substance.

GM used 8 injectors because:
A. They needed to support 1400 hp on methanol.
B. They didn't care about the cost.

GM Tech- what you are saying might make sense to you, and some people might agree. However, in that time that you were deciding that ZZP is unprofessional and shooting themselves in the foot, our sales in the Cobalt market more than doubled in a year. We will stick to our business model. It works well for us. In your case, you held too much ego to go into a build with us with any of it under our terms. I'm sure you will see it differently, but I can assure you that we would have welcomed your business if you actually came to us with an open mind. Unfortunately you didn't, and we did not end up working together.
