It looks like in the ad you can use your current parts and add the rest in.

Def a good deal for the 2k package!

I'm not really sure though.

Tried emailing both zoomer and matt. I only had a reply from Matt, asking if zoomer already responded to my pm.

so we'll see what the outcome is

I don't see any reason we couldn't use your springs based on the price mentioned on the ZZP page. It looks like it would be $100 less if you provide springs.

After reading the full information page I think I understand why it's a package deal. Based on the fact you're including a tune (revised cam tables) have these cams been designed to work specifically with your porting? Is this why you're choosing not to sell separately right now?

No. The cams don't have a special design for the heads, they are just larger than stock. They don't require any tuning. They work just fine on any setup just bolting them in. However, there are additional gains to be had by playing with the tables when using these cams. Obviously we want to maximize the performance for our customers. If we sold this setup w/o support and a customer installed everything posting up low dyno numbers we'd feel foolish and the customer would be unhappy. Well, most customers would be unhappy with a low dyno number

I know, but you can't tell one person to man up if your not doing it yourself. Acting like high school teenagers is useless for everyone in a situation like this.

I'm all for some good **** talking but damn not in a technical thread , maybe in a new guy , off topic, or war story / drag / auto one.

100's of posts of useless information in a informative thread like this will make people looking for answers ask more and more of the same questions over and over.

Trust me once again I like a good **** talk / argument but here I do not think it is warranted.

Yeah please let it go guys. In summation:

-Cams only avail in the package deal right now
-Includes everythig you need, even tune for a GREAT price from ZZP
-First set of cams for the LNF
-Cams will be available later on on their own
-Tune isnt really needed to run them but should be tuned for to get the power out of them

50-100 HP gains? Wow, that seems too good to be true... Definitely interested but want to see proof. Show me the independent dyno charts... actually I can't seem to find any charts to back up this claim so if someone could please assist I would be thankful......

i think zzp put down like 380 whp on just their cams stock turbo.. full bolt ons which is basically 30 whp over the next highest stock turbo dyno

Found it on there web site. - I was looking to see what gains were made from having the "ZZP-Head/Cams/Tune" on a stock TC setup and then having the "ZZP-Head/Cams/Tune" added on a full ZZP TC kit..

"FAQ - How much power does this combo make?

-This varies drastically based on your existing mods and combo. If you’re car is not far from stock and you have a stock tune, this combo will net you approximately 100 horsepower. Much of this comes from the tune where we can increase turbo output.

-In a mildly mod’d LNF with an existing tune and factory turbo, expect to gain around 50 HP.

-For cars with an upgrade turbo setup, upper rpm gains will be 50-100HP depending on boost level. Peak HP will vary based on existing tune. Average HP will rise significantly depending on shift points."

But doesn't that statement bother anyone? The way I read it, you're paying for a $2000 infiniboost.

And they made 360whp on cams only if I read the first post correctly.

This is the only graph I can find anywhere to back up any power gains. Matt also says "Maxing the turbo on the stock cams should have put it somewhere around 336-340 whp" so that's only 20whp on cams alone.

Now if much of the increase comes from the tune, how much does the ported head add? 10whp? 20whp?
