So I guess I'm still a little confused on what I need if I choose to get Cams for my LNF. Do I get just regular if I don't plan on getting E85, or do I get the upgraded lobe for pump gas and if I feel frisky, get E85 and have no fueling issues?

So just so we're on the same Paige if I never ever get E85, I can use the larger lobe and still be okay for a daily driven SS/TC

most of the time........the durability of your engine will decrease when you modify it to become more aggressive.

will your be ok with the bigger fuel lobe...yes. Will it last as long compared to a stock engine....maybe, maybe not. Will your engine be fine in 10yrs...maybe, maybe not. Nobody knows at the present.

if you buy the S1 cam (w/o big fuel lobe)...you'll be fine too. But if you decide to use E85 later on....you'll be face-palming..........since you didnt go for the bigger fuel lobe.

that's why I suggest, going with the big fuel lobe.........so you have room for growth.

Yeah man, there are no 'gurantees'. But there should be no problems with running the larger lobe other than maybe shortening the life og your HPFP a tad since youre basically 'stroking' the pump a tad.

Okay cool so without the lobe, what's the advantage of S1 cams? Cheap stock replacement?

***Edit***
Okay just kidding, don't answer yet until I read the thread.

I got the bigger fuel lobe with my S1 cams. Its better to have a little more fuel capability than not having enough. IMHO. It is only $150.

Whens the Stage 2 Cams being released? I wouldn't mind having just a lil more than what the Stage 1 Cams put out.

well you better check your credit card and see if you were billed at least $850 (cams + big fuel lobe)......or else what you have is just the regular S1 cams.

you need the big fuel lobe for extra fuel delivery for your engine build.

I don't think that we will release them, at least not any time soon. They have too many drawbacks and too much overall cost for us to carry them at this time.
