I haven't got a 3" yet only have a K&N typhoon. Havent decided if its worth it

As for 370, it may be optomistic but thats what I am shooting for lol

i was looking all over youtube for one of a guy running a 2.6" on a tvs... i think it was only around 330 though mayyybe i wont look anymore.

as for that intake. just think about it! what good can something do that gets wider after it was narrow, rather than something thats wide all the way through? its like running just a 3" catback with a stock header/dp. i think you'll see more worthy gains with a 3" intake, plus scream more than the shitty typhoon

Ehh not a fan of the N20 route. Not that it is bad, but to have the setup and everything that I would really want it would just cost way too much. And tuning for it and all that bullshit is just annoying haha

ud have to be in 4th gear to use a 150 shot effectively

GMPP clutch will hold just fine. Also you may get by with 80's but it will be close. 11's can be had with a good launch and good driving after you get used to the slicks.

Okay cool. When you had your head off to get ported, did you just mark on the timing chain and cam sprockets to know where to line it back up?

there should be marks on the cam sprockets that will line up with colored marks on the timing chain

This^. There are 3 colored links on the chain that have to line up with the diamond shaped holes on the cam gears as well as the round dot marking on the crank sprocket. Just download the GM Build Book PDF file off the redline forums and its all in there

If you are interested in a ZZP 3" intake. PM me and maybe we could work out a deal. Shipping would have to be considered. I have pictures of the intake so that you can see the condition.

Simply just sayin', not forcing you to do it.

I dont know how I didn't see this haha. I'll PM you.

Update time: Got the coolant drained, TVS, intake mani and valve cover taken off tonight

Didn't have the right size socket for the tensioner so I stopped there for today.

Head almost ready to come off

While I have the intake manifold off anyone have an idea of somethings I should do with it? Thinking about having it ported... probably gonna have it ceramic coated to help heat transfer. Any suggestions on what to do with the intake mani??

porting the intake mani from wut i've read and been told doesn't really do anything for it. could always tap it for an additional nozzle for meth or nitrous... lol. about the only thing i would do with it besides maybe a lil polishing or powdercoating

I'm thinking getting the ports gasket matched, then you might as well cut it apart and port the slots inside... I'm not sure if I will.

And turbo your right 1 1/4
