anyone ever bypass the a/c?

im thinkin about bypassing the ac on the pulley system and want to know if anyone has ever done it or if its possible? the reason im asking is because i cracked the piece infront of the stock h/e. and now i have everything taken off of the car to do my turbo setup up and was thinking i really dont need any of that because my cobalt has now turned into my project car being that i have 2 extra daily drivers. so is removing the ac on the pulley system possible?
