although any KR is bad KR, 3.5 is not bad at all if youre going to have KR. I would not suggest running it like that for an extended period of time, but you dont necessarily have to baby it.

i beat the crap outta my cav wnd it shows at time as high as 6

all its telling you is the compter is seeing a signal from the knock sensor , and that its adjusting the timing accordingly

fo rall out performance its best to see 0 or close to it , but it shouldnt be anything to be scared of

I truley believe that most of our tuning issues will be solved with the GM Stage reflash. GM set it up that way to make money on the kits and not lose money on warrenty engine, trans, ect.. Can't wait for Stage 1(Reflash and Injectors), 2.8 pulley, I, H, E should be a nice SAFE hp numbers.

You have much to learn Luke GM has to design a package with EMISSIONS in mind NOT performance! I would bet 1,000,00 bucks that the reflash will lower timing, have the IFR table adjusted for the new injectors, and adjust the commanded afr table.
Designed for longevity/warranty, NOT performance. How do i know? I have worked as a technician and service manager at chevy dealers for 16+ years

The car BADGTP talks about is mine, no KR yet but did have 1 isolated occurance yesterday. I made a quick 50 to 110mph, turned the corner and nailed it again. Got 2.3deg at 6K the second time. Have had none since.

You need more fuel!!! The cars fueling is maxed out with a 3.2 pulley PERIOD!

Running the 2,6" pulley and 42 lb/hr injectors since yesterday, I see around 4 degrees of Knock Retard for the few last RPM's. Better gas available here is 91 octane gas, unless I fill it with racing gas. I am waiting to log a few parameters, then I will post my results achieved on the dyno soon ...

Butt dyno defenitly feels the difference, but that's the Mustang dyno who notice the most ... at the very least 10 WHP and 12 TQ more over the 3" pulley, but yesterday I was not able to tune perfectly my air fuel mixture with the 42 lb/hr injectors. The idle and the acceleration is great, but i'm still too rich. The entire powerband comes sooner too !

Yes, you need bigger injectors and a MAFFT to tune your AFR to 11.8 to 12.1
