I know we have all been waiting for the stage kits I say we wait a lil longer and the truth will be revealed. And if the truth is 16hp gain I will contact my lawyer and see if we can sue GM

Just to let you know... you don't feel horsepower you feel torque.

What people need to understand is that dynos do not mean anything. Has anyone taken a stage 2 car to the track yet? Maybe the GM kits are like the Mopar kits for skittles. Stage 2 for SRTs never dyno as well as they run at the track. The reason the Mopar engineers gave is because there is not enough air flow coming into the engine so the PCM cuts back on the boost and dumps a lot of fuel to be safe. Does anyone have any graphs up of the GM stage 2 ? How does the A/F look? How is the torque curve?

That is shitty news. As others have stated, the PCM is "new", but with a specific flash designed for this application, the gains should still be better. I hope it does get stronger.

How does "the seat of the pants feel"?

The results are not making me a believer in the stage kits.

Sue them for what????? I hope you are joking. What did GM say the stage kits would put to the wheels around 250-260whp. What did this guy dyno?

What about that guys post makes you think it isn't a stage 2 dyno?
The title of it is "stage-2 dyno runs" and it is posted in the Stage 2 thread.

Arent the intense and riu kits Dyno'n at like 260-270+?
All this for a reflash and warranty? Think i'm leaning towards the aftermarket kits.
Warranty was never a selling point for me so other then the gain in 200-500 for the rev im starting to think the GM kits might not be worth it. Though i will be waiting for more numbers to come in before i make my final choice.

All I can say on the matter especially since I don't have mine yet, is that everyone that gets dynoed, post their results so that we get an average gain.

One other factor that could help is if the car has colder plugs and a CAI.....

The most important thing of all for this upgrade is you really feel the difference.

i love how everyone reacts and hangs on to every word thats typed in these forums. do you even know these people? how do you judge something thats so new and haven't had ENOUGH (keyword) evidence to say otherwise. the swings of these stage kits is horrible. first anticipation for months. then dissapointment. just be patient keyboard commandos all will be well in due time. i trust these kits put out more than what has been shown

Good point, I've got my fingers crossed as stage 2 is already on the way for me...

omg are you serious. Look at the dyno. It stops at 6500 rpm and even says on the bottom, K&N filter and Header.
